To me, it’s a little mind boggling that one cannot believe that 1) the hotel receptionist makes a photo copy of the chicas cedula/ID. 2) They place it in some “file” or folder of the room guest. 3} The hotel does not dispose of or throw away the photo copies (ID with PHOTO) properly.

I don’t/will not check out of my hotel in San Jose without at least inquiring (and insist on viewing) about the records/photo copies of the chicas that I invited to my room for conversation and the occasional game of twister.

I cannot verify if the guy that VB describes is on the “up-and-up”, but stranger shit has happened. And Bob has never struck me as one how is gullible or prone to run with urban-legend stories. What is the point of this 6 page argument? Perhaps the lesson learned is that guys that need to exercise caution in terms of “due-diligence” when checking out of a hotel and closely look at the file/paper work /records that the Del Rey (or any hotel) may have recorded. If when checking out, the hotel is not forthcoming with allowing you to view your records, then you are in within your right to make a fuss. I can imagine many bleary eyed mongers not paying the least bit of attention while checking out. Gents, stay in/on your game.

Remember, just because you are paranoid, does not mean they are not out to get you.
