I've never met him , but Cujo raises a lot of good points. The things he's talking about don't require you to be taller, bigger, younger or better looking than other guys. Being confident, having some game, treating the working chicas like ones you meet in a non-pro situation, making them laugh and being able to communicate well with them will make for better sessions. However it's really hard to describe music to a deaf person...

As for February, we'll have to see - with all the other options out there, it takes a lot to get me back to CR these days, specifically:

1) My lodging is covered.
2) I can get round trip airfare from L.A. for less than $400.
3) I have "business" to conduct.

Looks like I'm probably good on #1 - #2 & #3 I don't know yet...

BTW - the dollar is up to 1.89 brazilian reals as of today...

Hell, if GR makes it down in February, I might just have to make a special trip. I owe him some photos anyway. Is AJ up for the challenge?

I would certainly like to make it Keroseneflat! Delta decided to nearly double the amount of FF mileage that it takes to get there for me (from 35K to 65K)and that makes it a little less likely. Currently the RT airfare is ridiculous and I could go to Rio for only $200 more. I should know in the next month or so if I will be down there. If I do, a side trip to Jaco will be in order

Nah man, forget that mumbo jumbo. Ticket prices are rediculous though. Even for me I usually need to wait up until a month out before a $156 or $199 is offered.

Listen, I'd be down for a jaco trip (never been). Something tells me this upcoming Feb trip might be a little crazier than usual.

I'd hate for ya to miss out on that

Like I wrote elsewhere, aside from weight (I'm lean, not fat) I'm about as average as you can get appearance-wise for a gringo in his thirties: looks, height, and, um, size...

I don't bring porn-star size to the table, but it gets the job done. Average gringo size fits the average gringa pretty well and is even better in Central America.

It's funny, but when I'm in Asia, some of the chicas think I'm too big. The Thai and Filipina chicas are small though. Even smaller usually than most of the Ticas and Nicas.

Anyway, one thing that I can never convey even in threads like this is for guys to basically act normal as well. Regardless of age, you can think to a time when you gleemed of confidence. I think guys should tap into that memory when coming to CR.
I "guess" if some guys here basically don't get any action back at home it can be hard not to make bad descions when confronted by a cutie.
In fact you inspired me to start another thread. Since I'm at work right now, I need to fill my time somehow

You're right about confidence. Don't leave home without it. Without confidence, the hot non-pros will ignore you and the pros will not be down for a real party.

Several years of mongering in Asia, Europe and Latin America have helped me raise my game a lot with the non-pros. And my experiences with the pros in those places just keep getting better and better for the same or less money.
