This is only an observation: When the municipal and/or national government decides it is time for a crack down on MPs to demonstrate that they are doing something about the flower of CR youth, it has typically been around the time of major religious holidays (Christmas or Easter); and they do not care how “well established” the venues are.

But sin is a relative thing. How many places do you know that have “motels” where you can drive-in, and without getting out of your car, press a button to close the garage door and then walk into the room virtually unnoticed? And the place is always near capacity.

The Eden isn’t the only motel of that nature. There are several similar motels in the solidly Tico neighborhoods such as San Francisco de Dos Rios.

Should you decide to walk around the governmental buildings at the Legislative Assembly and the Supreme Court, keep your eyes open and read the signs. There are dozens of by-the-hour-no-tell hotels. You will never guess who use those rooms? That kind of industry does not prosper without customers. And there are plenty of customers, usually mid and low level bureaucrats. The muk-it-e-mucs use motels like Eden.

So they are not against scr*wing one-another; heck no, they are a society of little rabbits. They are against doing it in a public way so as to bring embarrassment or shame to their families. And no society want's its yung-ens shamed by violation.

As I mentioned in a prior post, I am pretty sure she goes by 'Carla' or something similar.

In my opinion, you should just stay clear of the place. The place is on the radar and it's pretty clear the management isn't scrupulous. I guess some guys just like to live dangerously.

Bilko, I know the owner and in my opinion he does care and tries to be careful. But that is just my opinion and I have been wrong before. My original post (which you obviously took great offence to) was merely an attempt to explain that I had heard from 3 different sources a different account of the situation and what had occured, and all three told the same story. Two know each other and the third does not know the other two. Found it strange they all had the same story. Also found it strange and still do that no charges were filed and the chica was allowed to go back to SAN. But then there is, as we all know, no explaining the Tico way of doing things.

All that said--a follow up: i went to San 3 times this week to see who was working there and I talked to the chicas there, one I have know for a long time. Also I talked to the owner today. All three times this week there have only been 2 chicas there and I have been told each time they are the only 2 working there now. My friend who I trust and have known for a long time told me today that the chica in question did have a fake ID that even fooled the police for a while (based on this I can understand why the owner was snookered) I also had seen the ID and it did look very real. The chica did turn out to be under age. BUT SHE HAS NOT WORKED THERE AND HAS ONLY BEEN IN THERE ONCE SINCE THE INCIDENT (TO GET HER THINGS). I saw her that day and I honestly thought she was working also but according to the chicas and the owner she was not working (who knows). I also talked to the owner today and he gave me the exact same story; and he assured me he would never knowingly hire an und***ge chica.

I have said many times on this board,"if she looks under 25, ask for proof; if you still have doubts, run don't walk. I still say all MPs are much more careful than many seem to believe (they have a lot more to loose). BUt as we all know an und***ge chica can and sometimes does slip thru the barriers, wether it be a MP, or HDR, or SL, Or a night club; It has happened in all, but to tell guys to not go there at all is being a little harsh in my opinion. Telling them to be very very careful there OR ANY OTHER PLACE; YES YES !!! Have never seen anyone on this board saying DO NOT GO TO OASIS!! and they have had several und***ge chicas working there over the years!! as has HDR, several strip clubs and even SL.

Doncarlos, I agree with you 100%. I have dos colones say about SAN. It is on the wrong side of the tracks., as I have stated before on this tread. I have been going there for over a year. I Dhave often noticed that the chicas working there also live there.

It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that it is a haven for runaway girls. I quit going there; 6 months ago, for that reason.


This board is a tool to flag this type of behavior, not to praise it.

BB57 knows enough about some of these places to have a personal comfort zone, I would never go there or reccomend anyone else to go. As TW said too many better options. I have been on the walking tour with BB and some of the places were ok, just not my thing. To each their own.

Yeah, I walked to SAN once, it is in a dumpy neighborhood but that didn't bother me. Looking back, I'm glad it was closed. This thread has been excellent and I will double check to erase all doubts. Even though completely unintentional, I can see how such an incident can happen.

I did not take offense, there is nothing personal here. I am giving the best information I have, which is as close as I can get without being personally the one who got thrown in jail (or his lawyer). As far as the girl working there again, I saw a picture of her taken by a friend who took it the same day he sessioned with her, which was after the place re-opened. Possibly the first girl has a double who works there now under the same name. I doubt it, personally.

The owner may be a swell guy, I don't know him. I have never been in the place. I have no beef with you. It is your choice if you do not believe what I have posted to be factual. I am not posting just to ruin some guy's business. I wouldn't post if I didn't have pretty high confidence in my information. Others can believe what they wish.

My friend got a 3 month extension on the time he can't leave the country, that is, he has to go check in for 3 MORE months because the OIJ hasn't gotten around to doing anything about the case.

I wonder what pct. of guys here can take 6 months away from home (assuming they don't live in CR)?
