Well, there's been some smack talk and some perverse fun stuff expressed...but yeah this deserves maximal exposure, which it won't get here so move it please.

5 pages of posts in a week! I would say there must be more than just a passing interest in the 3 subjects posted about here--CubaDave and not staying under the radar, CRT on Facebook, and CRT ownership/secrecy. And hopefully a lot of good has come for the (mostly civil) postings on the thread. probably best to move it to the "General information" section.

I have learn more about CRT, its past, and its mission by reading this discussion than by reading hundreds of past posts. And nobody seems to have more knowlege and better understanding than BangBang.

Yep Greybeard, that ole' fart BangBang 57 knows a lot about CR. But I hear from the chicas that although he's not as good as he once was, he's as good once as he ever was. He keeps 'em smiling. :P

Now wait just a minute!!! Are you calling me a rodent? :P . But yep, "it" is kind of small (never denied that  ) Why do you think I like the old saying "It ain't the size of the ship but the motion of the ocean that counts"--makes me feel a little better  :P

And Lenny, I am not at all sure about even being "as good once as I ever was"!   !!

BUT, as long as I can get that little buddy up (even for a little while) I will keep trying, and trying, and trying!! And, when all else fails, thank God for my lesbian friend many years ago who taught me the art of pleasing a chica with the tongue :!:    :P

I read the article on Cubadave (I saw it in the "Newtimes" as I live in Miami)

I had two emotions.....

Here is a guy doing what he loves, and making a living at it

OTOH, a wasted life - I don't care how much you like steak, you can't eat at Mortons/Capitol Grill/ Ruths Chris 3 times a day, seven days a week

While I never met Cubadave, have heard of him for years, and have seen videos he has produced and narrated - my impression was we are not dealing with a genius here.

Something else some may have missed in the article was reference made to e books written on the subject at hand by one of our members, although they did not identify the author by name.

I know some really like and admire Cubadave, and you are welcome to your preferences - I also will admit that he provides realist information on subject(s) that there is often speculation and misinformation - but I did not come away from the reading the article with an overwhelming desire to be Cubadave - just the opposite.

PS In the article they devote some time to "Medellin Paisa" who frequently posted here until his murder - the article was not flattering (they called him a person with a coke habit and a big mouth - after living in New York for 20 years, I know the type) he was shot and killed recently - he was in a similar business, although the description of his business practices I found disgusting and a rip off. A real putz in fact.

As countries focus less on civil war, and more on economic stability and prosperity, they don't want to be known - by and large - for sex tourism, regardless of the <often small> percentage of tourists actually engaging in that activity - guys like Cubadave (who is unlikely to be a MENSA member anytime soon) may learn this the hard way, although hopefully not in the manner of Medilian Paisa

True. True. And with that/this level of visibility the fellow runs the risk of annoying not only The Party in Havana, but a dinky little outfit in the USA called the State Department but more importantly the Treasury Department. Bragging about making illegal trips (let alone to promote matters best not written down on a known and monitored website) to Cuba demonstrates the non-rocket scientist marrow of this boy.

Each and every one of his trips into Havana are tracked, recorded, and flagged. He is a fool to think otherwise as I sit here and look at the last ticket number. Oh well....*shrug* :P

Relative to travel to Columbia: Don't do it. Safety is but a veneer.

Without doubting you, just curious. If he goes to Havana via say CR, and they are still doing the immigration stamp on a slip of paper thing and not on one of your US passport pages, just to be kept with you as I understand was what they were doing, and he returns to CR or Canada, how would our State Dept know he was there?
