That was an excellent observation Thirdworld, Oscar Arias is a travelin’ man. Most people recognize that Rodrigo Arias Sánchez, Oscar’s brother, as the C.O.O. of the nation is effectively the real president.

The elections will be held in February 2010, so all of the politicking is going on right now. Teams are being formed, position papers are being constructed, and alliances are being built. The campaign will be full throttle next summer through the elections.
