Here are some pointers that have really helped me.
First off I speak spanish which "really" helps... I always crack a joke which breaks the ice, so she smiles and she becomes comfortable with you. I never pay sticker price, I pay retail. Wherther I am in Brasil or CR, its all about you and your Personality.
Looking clean smelling good and having a positive attitude goes a along, long way in not getting " sticker shock".

Speaking spanish is going to help get a better session as well.There are a lot of guys that don't invest the time to try to learn a little spanish. The rewards are huge especially if you plan on making several trips to CR.

I've always been curious about the price debates on here. No doubt it needs to be discussed so we are all pretty much on the same page. But it seems to me or (what would) be important to me is quality of service.

I mean, who cares if you paid $70 if you recieved the aforementioned "Jiffy" lube service? Negotiations to me reflect how I feel our session and chemistry are going to be in the room, not the bottom dollar.

I seem to always be in CR during a sellers market (holiday weekends). The hot ladies in the DR set the price:

MD 2006 was $100
MD 2007 was $125

As I stated earlier I never approach a lady I would not pay $100 to. I call them superstars. I was in the DR with a table of CRT good fellows last trip and pointed out 2 superstars I had did. My goodness, perish the thought. I cannot pronounce US$150 in Spanish so I cannot pay it. I had dinner over two nights and hung-out with a MP girl for two days for less than that. She was cute, spoke no English, and was one of the nicest girls that I EVER met.
