I have also seen this in expensive restaurants in USA. I think it is (only slightly) more subtle than posting a sign "we are high class, do not object to paying outrageous prices."

The nastiest restroom [if you can call it that] is in Mercado Central. I was having a meal and nature came a calling and I lost my mind for a moment I went to the rest room at Mercado central the stench alone woke me out of my daze like the smelling sauce they use on boxer after they get knocked out. The roaches had community condos in that bathroom and I think they had a roach version of Del Rey it was so many of them just hanging around. Needless to stay I made it to the Royal Dutch Hotel in Olympic time to use a real bathroom.

The HardRock Hooters Head has a curious, small, tiled terlet space that you almost have to back in if you're gonna take a dump....the tile extends about 5 feet above the floor, suitable for easy hosing down in cases of massives....the acoustic effects of farts, sighs and groans/moans reverberate off the wooden door, which combined with the ambiance of the tight space, gives the feeling of shitting in an upright coffin.

all in all, the HardRock Hooters Head gets 1 and half thumbs up from this reviewer....there is only one sink and no yellow ice.
