I know plenty of older gentleman that have their swag on. Some of the ones I see around the gulch though wouldn't be getting it if P4P went away. I hear ya about the younger guys! I have smoked guys 20 years my junior on pulling a chica out from underneath them and I definitely don't have any green to flash around. Actually, my opening line with the chicas is telling them that I don't have any money like all these other gringos here on vacation. One night in the Del Rey I could tell this chica just didn't believe me. Wanted to go home with me at the end of the night. Told her I was staying in a dive hotel. Still don't think she believed me, but when we got to the Hotel Johnson she didn't flinch. The cost of that one: 3 Pilsens. Haven't seen you around as much. Have missed your posts. :D

Mas mierda from the putas, although you are saying "ticas" and not "chicas" so maybe that's your out.

I don't doubt you've heard it from a tica or a chica. But, I've seen too many of them do the chica walk to the elevator at the DR, the door at KL, or the cama at SL with a disgusting, fat ass, stinky, pukey drunk gringo who I wouldn't share a sidewalk with.

I've made these sentiments known a number of times on this board, my point always has been how can these girls do it on occasion w/ absolutely nauseous, disgusting gringos? Easy answer of course.

If, like what your/their insinuation is, is true, that they'd rather do tico's despite the lower price and shitty treatment as opposed to doing a disgusting gringo pig for mas dinero, they'd be jumping in a $1 tico-price cab. They'd go hang out at one of the tico dumps when "their choice meat" dumb ass gringo wasn't availabe in the gulch, working for cheap colones. That ain't happening.

So when you quote them as saying : "I'd rather be a hooker for the ticos" for 1/5th of the money rather than session with gringo basura for alot more $$, I know you don't believe them, at least a vast majority of the times, and I know you've doubted their drivel.

I don't understand how this turned into a flaming of young guys who monger. I'm in my thirties, but overweight, so where do I fit in? :) Can I still be in the brotherhood or should I bow down to the gringas and Americanized women that seek to control my life, my money, my time, and everything else I value without even appreciating it? :( And somehow that is earning it on the merits without paying for it and I'll be just as happy? :(

Given that the legislature is not abrogating the legalization of prostitution in itself, I tend to believe like a number of other posters that this proposed bill won't have much of an effect. However, an overnight decline in the state of mongering is not without precedent. Anyone who travelled to Rio up until around 2008 knows that it is an entirely different place for mongering since the closing of Helpee Disco and the inflation of their currency, the Real.

The other thing that pisses me off is how those whose motive it is to abolish prostitution entirely always paint the female participants as victims and if that doesn't work, play the und***ge card. Here is a link to a breakdown of the definition of trafficking as defined by the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC) and the Protocols thereto: http://www.unodc.org/unodc/en/human-tra ... cking.html. The definition is intentially broad but even reading it broadly I don't see how hotels, taxi drivers, and the like who are monger friendly would be considered a direct violator or accomplice where the women of the legal age of consent are independant, of their own volition, and are paid directly by the patron. However, member states like Costa Rica are also left to fill in the blanks in terms of the details of how they enforce their anti-traficking laws, although as others have said we all know that their primary concerns are international aid money and outward blame of their social ills on the big bad sex tourists.

And if chicken little is finally right and the sky is falling, all the more reason to party like its our last trip to San Jose come Halloween.

Greengo: Nice try to cover your previous attempt to cover another of your goofy posts, one of your repeated x100 posts with disdain for Costa Rica, gross disrespect for Ticos, and your twisting of this thread. Beats me why you still live there given your multi posts of how disgusting life is there, how dumb Ticos are, and how naive ex-pats (other than you) are. You regularly seriously degrade CR and highly tout Panama.

You should set up a "how to" biz for gringo's to show them the way to Panama, rather then working as a SJ hotel pool boy, your last self reported employment. Panama? The greatest? Why no Panama? No passport?

In your last attempt to cover your previous dumb post, which was, rarely for you, in normal english, you claim you regularly hear as an instant refrain from your tica non "ladies of the night" as you call them: "I'd rather be a hooker for the ticos'" when they are asked to do something they don't want. "Momma, I'd rather be a tico's puta than go to the mall". How you got to that point from this thread is beyond me.

I call not just BS, but BS to the max.

You ain't the only gringo with enough experience in CR to know or not know what Tico familiy's, outside of the gulch chicas, true feelings are even though none of us will ever be a Tico. Stick to your goofy speak which alot of guys find worthy of reading. Their choice, it's a board. That way, nobody can point out your bullshit because nobody can impeach your ramblings.

Getting to the point, your last post trying to explain your latest "I know CR and you don't", you try to back out by saying you were being "ironic".

Maybe the other genius who has since retracted can add to what you call "irony" to explain your latest nonsensical anti CR bullshit.

I know everyone knows when somebody says I only meant it in irony, as you have, that's the last refuge of a bullshit artist.

Thumbs up......but ya left out the good part:

"Most ignorant of what he's most assur'd"

not to mention:

‘Where, shall I go? , Say ‘How, do I run? , from rams, with burning breaths Minions, of dimness, if rooted like a bay My head hurts, thoughts twinkle Like coins, jingling, in a swinging splay Scatter, each carving out own torque A jumble, as torrential spray Chastens the river, overthrowing bony bank Chest burning, heaving, like a train Out of sync, snorting fuel I run, with sinews, in full sail Nimble, Over tors, and torrid dales But, wait, a strange foe, comes calling Knocks, seeps through, wagers, for bones now frail My heart, also, slows and strains Miser, shielding silver stents without fail These limbs trudge, but, with footsteps foreign Meteors no longer, rather, a tapestry of black mail I know, sooner than later As tenebrous tidings rail Play, stalks the tents, of inevitability And I, await these tides, with fists like nails. :P :P 8)

Amen

Admin1: I hear you and I'll abide.

Obviously the two wierdos above, who have by their too numerous, uninformative, way too wacky posts 100x over have proven that they are from a different planet, and they won't abide. You have to put it to them in their goofy speak and you can't.
