I've been away for a week, in PuraVidaLand as a matter of fact, walking the walk not talking the talk - so I missed the suggestion that triggered this thread, but...

Prolijo, often the most balanced and insightfull contributor on the board, has it right when he says "That means that this board rightly or wrongly chooses to regard these "WHORES" as human beings, ladies if you will, worthy of dignity and respect. Foul language, disrespectful references, irrelevant BOASTING, stupidity in the face repeated and universal advice to the contrary, whether by a newbie or a vet are all things that are going to push other vet's buttons.

I have grown weary not of the newbies, but of those who denegrate the Ticas or each other or some older or younger set of writers. I am not a prude and enjoy a good argument, but if that kind of thing becomes the tone of CRT it will cease to attract me.

Since the original portion of this thread that triggered the debate is no longer there.. there is no reason to keep this thread open when we do not have the original posters thoughts.

I will lock this for that reason ONLY!

Guys please don't delete original thread ideas without at least consulting unless its really a terrible idea or in poor taste.. I certainly don't want to have to lock down the edit feature.
