National elections.

I have had the experience of being at the Del Rey on two occasions during elections. First do not view it as a bad thing. I found viewing their election process quite interesting. They put as much fervor into it as they do their soccer games. Complete with flags and team colors. Walk down to Avenue Central and enjoy one of the rallies for someone in politics in North America it would be quite interesting.

As for the no drinking thing. Sometime after midnight on Friday they come into the blue marlin and put yellow tape over the liquor cabinets and the bunkers with the beer. It has been my experience that the bar is still open just no alcoholic drinks. This will last till sometime Sunday night or Monday morning. The monkey bar will be close completely.

Interestingly they will continue to replenish the icebox in your room.

I have booked the party suite at the Sportsman's lodge during super bowl weekend with the thought of having a private party on Sat night for the vip guys in CR. (Bill is probably going to have one on Sunday).
Trying to decide if it should be a BOB and I would get the beer and food or have the guys chip in.

One flat admission fee with free booze February 5th,2006 (Bills Private Super Bowl Party). The Sportsmens Lodge dancing girls, Mariachis, lunch, The Super Bowl, raffles, Grid betting (squares) Sportsbetting and all you can comsume free drinks...plus some girls will be invited to join the party....looks like between $40 & $50 a head purchased at the door. We had 170 the last Super Bowl Party...this one will be even better! We had Judge Mauricio & my Attorney Alfredo Nunez work this out for us....

Okay, Sunday super bowl is all set at the SL. Saturday for those interested, I will have a private party in the new suite at the Sportsman's. Once we get closer to the date I will post a roll call with particulars. Their will be some lovely hostesses to make sure your glasses are filled.
Looking forward to seeing everybody next week............................

So, is the SB party at SL on? I am making plans for my next trip for sometime in February.

Will the MP's (only care about ZB & Idem) and DR/BM be open that weekend on their regular schedule?

Ok Gentlemen,
Just got everything confirmed. I'll be in town with 6 other wingmen! Already got flights and hotel rooms booked. Dry weekend or not........ IT'S ON !!! Out of the 7 of us, it'll be the 1st time in CR for 4 of the guys. I love to watch the expression on a newbie's face when they walk into the BM for the 1st time. It's gonna be one helluva weekend!

Twarag, Sorry buddy, but we won't be making the private party on Saturday. I wish we could, but we have some business to take care of on the weekend. We're staying at the HDR on Thursday night, then flying to Liberia on Friday, mid-day. A couple of mi amigo's are going to buy some condo's in Playa del Coco.

We're going to take care of business in Guanacaste on Friday, then we're going to go fishing on Saturday out of Flamingo Beach. Seriously....we ARE going fishing! Then, we're flying back to SJO on Superbowl Sunday morning. Then, spending our last night at the HDR. But we'll all definitely be at the SL Sunday afternoon for the Superbowl party. I appreciate the invite, and I'm sure it's going to be a great Pre-SuperBowl Party. But I hope to see everyone on Sunday! (Go Cowboys)!!!!

But I may be going to the BIG GAME....detroit...I do know some people, supposedly I wil have a tic. to see the COLTS WIN...so will be to c.r. 2 weeks earlier than normal....Have yet to see my ticket, but my friend has been a Michigan Wolve. VIP. for along time, and time will tell...My guess, Ill be there, and have a sign that says I miss the cr party this year, but Ill be on national tv from Detroit, With a GO COLTS SIGN !!!! Ill still recognize us on national t.v., though!!!
