I'm for spreading the word to guys to negotiate, but would this really be a good idea? Some chicas already know about CRT, if those things show up laying around the DR, KL and hotel rooms every chica, bartender, maid, employee, resident, beggar, etc... in the gulch will be in here...(maybe not the beggars, but you get my drift)
And I hope no-one would consider doing such a thing without consent of the Admins.

Lee has one of the best ideas getting it all sorted out on his trip in the elevator. Just as easy to push the down arrow if things do not work out on the trip up! LOL

I agree with PacoLoco on the negotiation part. I love to start at 100 or more. Now comes the fun part to see how much you are worth to her. The price you finalize on tells me everything I need to know. I always pay them more than I agreed too if I want them again as I know this puts a little more value on me that I am not a tight wadd.

Frankly I think this cien or no cien is stupid as the market will always be what it is. You are not going to change the basics of economics here dreaming about what could be? Just accept it & do the best you can.

To get serious for a moment. I do not think the cards are a good idea. With or without comment about price. Publicity is not a good thing in this little sport we participate in. Without any comment about price the card is just publicity not a desirable thing. With a comment about price we move from being a group of men with similar interest promoting good behavior to an interest group trying to affect price.

That would greatly change how the providers view us. Personally I think a provider (under present conditions) who sees you as a vocal member of CRT will try hard to please you in the hope of attracting additional customers. If they perceive members of CRT as a group who is trying to reduce their income I think you'll see different treatment.

For every action you take their is some form of reaction. It is always wise to consider all reactions. We have a good thing in San Jose I am very hesitant to mess with it in any way.

Thank you for your support. And thank you for coming to my defense. Pacoloco can be such a violent young man. But to get back to the subject. There is more than one price structure in effect at the Blue Marlin. Just about any one who walks in can find something in his price range that is worth what he's willing to pay. It just takes a little practice and a lot of time. But times consumed at the Blue Marlin is not time wasted. Even if you're not having any success with the girls just sit back watch and learn.

you make some good points and I couldn't agree more. I've had chicas ask me to recommend them to my amigos, they're not stupid and know what's up with our little group that hangs together at the BM, and the smart ones want our repeat business.
Does anyone think the chicas would respond warmly to a group of guys passing out "no cien, pay $50" cards that are trying to hurt their livelihood, and how long do you think it would take for them to figure out who was doing it? And it would definitely be bad karma for the website if it was in anyway related to this activity.

You guys will do what you will do, but IMO this should be in no way associated with CRT or the happy hour group.
Would like to hear some more opinions on this...

I think this will hurt more than anything. One thing is knowing the going fair price for a commodity, so you do not overpay. Another thing is to messing around with someone else's livelihood.

IMHO, if a girl can get cien, dos cientos, or mil, kudos to her. If a guy overpays, shame on him for not having done his homework or ignoring the lessons learned.

In the past few years I have not met anyone who has not asked whats the going rate before engaging in the transaction.

It just ocurred to me that another option is influencing the governments and the global economy so the dollar becomes weaker against the colon...that way it will be harder for the gringos to offer cien....hee hee

I am completely against the Business Card concept, and endorse what Paco suggested to those of you that like idea of handing out "No Cien" cards, please do not asscociate CRT in any way with the content on the cards.

Some guys just think that the more you spend the better the product. I meanits happend to me here where i offer clients a economical strip club or massage parlor and they order me to take them to the upperscale and overpriced strip clubs. Really its the same quality of girls the only thing that changes is the size of the room and the contents of your wallet but their set in their ways.

Since we keep getting back to this Cien or no Cien babel I tought of something else. We all seem to like this board & they could probably use some extra cash to help make things better for all of us right?

So why not charge Cien for the membership to the VIP section? This would probably keep all the Chicas out of this area or they could see how it feels to be charged Cien. It would also add a whole new chapter of posts about Cein or no Cien. I would be willing to pay this on my renewal if they don't kick me off sooner! LOL

What would charging 100 for VIP acomplish? I dont understand. We still dont know if there are chicas on the board. Most likely its certain members (probably lurkers) who are giving girls info. So upping the membership makes no sense at all.

Relax as this was just a joke. My post is just to show how stupid anyway to me the whole cien or no cien is!! There are Chicas viewing this board I do know this much & they read English much more proficiently than I thought possible. I was suprised when talking to one that is not working at DR as she works for a computer company doing different projects in English on the internet. She has high speed access all day at her finger tips & does have friends that work at DR & KL. So you can count on it that she passes along info for sure!!

Many of us don't care one way or the other if they lurk or post but if you want it private there are only 2 ways I can see.

1. SCreen vey well or know the people that are let into this area.
2. Raise the price enough that the Chicas would not pay this to lurk.
