Once again, excellent advice! In one relationship I had with a total non-pro Tica, I started off by taking her to expensive restaurants such as
Lukas, Antonio's, the Mirador (top floor of the HI), etc. She came from a very poor family and worked as a hairdresser in Los Yoses. She was in her mid-thirties and looked a little like Julia Roberts. After a while, she
told me she didn't like going to expensive restaurants, and preferred
cheaper ones and even the fast-food places and pizza. She was a sweet girl, but just my luck, she had mental problems (paranoid schizophrenia)
that eventually ended the relationship. I probably would have married her were it not for her mental problems. The main point is she preferred the simpler (and inexpensive) things and life-style. I should have learned from the experience, but my next relationship was with a semi-pro Tica with whom I repeated the same thing initially as I had done with the non-pro...taking her to expensive restaurants, etc. Only this time, the semi-pro always wanted the expensive places, and didn't appreciate the
simpler things. Needless to say, the relationship with the semi-pro
was a disaster. The bottom line is, as King Costa stated, do not overindulge the chicas, and find one who truly appreciates the little
things you do for her.
