Exactly! All of us old enough to remember Red Skelton (and Ed Grimley) should know better, lol

I had a good friend who was a bit of a techy/nerdy guy and he absolutely refused to dress the way women wanted him to. He was aware enough to know that wearing Zegna Sport was better than Dockers, but he refused to wear trendy clothes on principle. He thought women should be able to see past appearance and realize he was an intelligent, successful (very) guy.

This went on over my protests over many years, until he was in his late 20's, and he finally saw the light, or got desperate to actually get a date.

He got contac lenses, a haircut, and a wardrobe of Zegna, Boss and Armani. And he never looked back. He even took a girl from me, the bastard lol.

In the monger business it is your money and not your clothes that get you the women.
Being clean and neat helps of course.
