The short answer is no. Well, rumor has it, (since I walk by there most days, trying to get some weight off this big butt of mine), that there are people writing on the paper signs that was left outside, asking them to please pay their help the back pay owed. (I am putting it mildly) Also, rumor has it that the water was shut off yesterday by the Municipality. Who know's what is going to happen? It's not a secret that Jeff is looking for a partner/s to get it back open. I for one hope he succeeds.

We will be closed December 23-January 6th, reopening on the 7th of January. This includes the Hotel , Bar and Restaurant





An update from the ownership would be a step in the right diretion :roll: :roll:

Nope, that is a false rumor. No plans to do any of that. And actually, airport rate has gone down. Raised it briefly when gas was so high but since gas has come down to only $4.75 a gallon I went back to the old rate. So now, my rates are the exact same as the day I started this business almost 5 years ago!

an update from the management would have been nice. I have graciously accepted an invitation from Mr. Jimmy and am set to stay at the Zona2. Im not into getting in the middle of stuff that don't concern me but only interested in the fun I'm going to have....thanks Jimmy for the communication and the hospitality extended...in 36 hours I'll be on a plane! :lol:

Heck, I'm thinking very hard about giving FREE airport transfers to and from SJO? Metro Jaco area and 1/2 price fares to and from Jaco. Let's see how this plays out.

Hostile takeover is not true, however, rumor has it a merger is talked about. O.L.D. and P.V.T., are just working out some of the fine details. After lengthy conversations with my CRT brother Steve, we are trying to come up with a Company name. Two considerations is in place 1. Pura Vida Lucky Dogg or 2. One Lucky Transport. Maybe you guys can come up with something.
Note: due to the merger, just like the airlines when they merge, we say it is good for all involved. However, just like the airlines, a slight tariff increase with take place in order to give you better service (if really means to screw the public and make more money).


How about "Pura Dogg", although this might cast doubt on the quality of the ladies. :)
