The only time I have ever been "questioned" about my trips was in Charlotte and it was by what looked like a fresh out of the academy agent. He must of got the same guy. Personally I think the agent was just jealous he wasn't making the trips.

Although I just barely made it into the under 40 group, time and getting older is unfortunately something we can't stop.

SO - my question is that even though the group of goodfellas is getting older and there is a new wave of younger mongers coming through ---

Good question I would like to see the result on this one. I started in my 20's been in the military and was expose to it a long time from the Philippines and other places. I just see it as a better way to live than to have some sweet pretty thing sweet talk me and then take all my money.

Personally I got started late. It wasn't until my late 20's that I cracked my first puta but after knowing the BS involved with marriage and divorce I wish I started earlier.

I look at it as we are going to pay one way or the other so why not cut through the BS and get down to business.

I get to select any hot woman I want, phuck her and move on to the next - and I know it is much cheaper than what would be involved with dating, dinners, blah blah blah... with maybe the glimmer of some poosie after I've invested much more than I would in CR or other places.

I started in high school. Took a break, got married/divorced. Returned to mongering afterwards. Now, I am 43 and happy .

Concerning younger mongers, maybe some of them see what their friends (many times, used-to-be friends) are dealing with at home with the spouse. Then you add into it the mix, the high divorce rate. And yes, the internet has definately aided the communications of mongering destinations. High tech jobs and associated pay, not in todays environment but for sure five years ago, also contribute.

As a far as falling for a chica, it is always possible. After being divorced, I tend to have a bit of a wall up. But, when you are up against the elite forces of the chica squadron, they can break right through the wall. So, I would just post the scenerio, have you guys straighten me out, then back in business. . It is most important for a guy to understand his own weaknesses and keep himself out of those types of scenarios. Even better, conquer them!

Any time I deal with customs and they ask about my trip, I tell them the truth, chasing latinas. They laugh and say welcome back. Maybe it is that "I had many sessions smile" or the ten different phone numbers falling out of my passport. I like to tell them that they are important documents (napkins and La Amistad cards).

And I totally agree with Jamrock, I listen to the more experienced guys.

For whatever it is worth and bearing in mind the highly unscientific nature of these polls, there may be something to the proposition that mongers, on average, are getting younger. I looked up a couple of past polls. the most recent one was taken last fall (http://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=25572). The poll design itself was highly flawed, so it is difficult to compare results, however at that time 34% of the respondents reporting being 40 or less. That compares to 35% currently in this poll, not statistically significant and certainly well within the margin of error but slightly less nonetheless. The somewhat more interesting result comes from yet another poll that goes back much further to the tail end of 2005 (http://www.costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9507). Back then only 28% reported being under 40 (and 7% vs the current 11% for those under 30), still probably not definitive given the polling methods being used but much more statistically significant than the comparative results from last year's poll.

That's weird because that is not at all what I was saying. What I effectively said was "previous polls suggest that mongers in fact may be getting younger". That would have only been 11 words, but it would have left out the additional detail that provided the basis for my opinion which I think was an essential part of the post. You seem to have a problem with my posts, even my relatively short ones. I have only 4 words of advice for you: "Just don't read them".

What is the variance on those polls? 100%? 99.99999…? To use a CRT poll that someone created for fun is about as asinine as it can get. What is next poll? Ask the chicas if they are under pay?

I may think you're an asshole too, but I'm not going to start casting insults at you (like you just did at me) as that would be a violation of forum guidelines. Can I assume you weren't joking now because you didn't include any emoticons this time (or that just because you included emoticons before you can post anything you want and it won't betray what you're really thinking and I shouldn't find it insulting)?

OF COURSE, I understand these polls are mainly for fun and certainly are NOT of professional quality. Duh, that is why I began my whole post with the qualifier "For whatever it is worth and bearing in mind the highly unscientific nature of these polls ..." That doesn't mean the poll results are 100% invalid as you maintain. It doesn't mean that 100% of the polls posted are done JUST as some sort of joke or that many if not most of those who start those more serious polls don't hope to at least get some idea of how things break down even if the non-scientific nature of the poll limit their reliability.

And, even if you really believe the margin of error on these polls is 100% (that's your right), it doesn't mean other guys don't have the right to take away from the polls whatever they believe they can or have their "fun" with the polls the way THEY choose to.

I felt that the different results derived from essentially the same target population asking essentially the same question while probably not scientifically definitive was at least somewhat supportive of the proposition that mongers are getting younger. Or at least that mongers who belong to CRT and respond to polls are. And even if it WASN'T, I thought it was interesting. I don't find all your so-called jokes funny or all of your posts interesting, or those of other members for that matter, but I don't mock you for making them or call into question your posting style.

BTW, I have no problem at all saying "I don't know" WHEN I don't know, or better yet not saying anything AT ALL at those times (which is probably what you should have done). However, what you still haven't been able to figure out was that was NOT what I was saying in that particular post. All I was doing was offering ACTUAL LINKS to similar past polls, offering the ACTUAL results of those polls (I didn't make any of that up), offering my own OPINION based on that information and leaving it to everyone else to evaluate for themselves what sort of relevance to attach to the comparative results. You could have added to the commentary, disagreed with it or simply ignored it if you saw so little value in it. Instead, you chose to mock me personally.

I started mongering in my early twenties. I'll never forget my first foray into mongerdom at a Korean MP in Seattle. I was nervous as balls, and I'm still surprised I was able to perform.
