Personally I like ladies of all ages. The older I get (58 now) the less it matters to me what her chronological age might be. If she's reasonably fit and has a good attitude; I'm there. Everyone has a preference of some sort. Even though I'm morbidly obese I have no desire for the chubby ones but to each his own. But the right fat woman in the right situation has worked for me in the past. I like being an equal opportunity fornicator.

There is something about older women, married or not when their out of their zip codes. They become much more approachable. Even a guy like me has done well under those circumstances.

If you've never seen it check out the movie Heading South starring Charlotte Rampling (a favorite older babe). It's about middle-aged women (sister mongers) going to Haiti to pick the younger local studs. It's available on Netflix instant view.

I dated within 10 years of my age until I hit 40. I just could not make the transition to dating women over 40, especially when they had hot daughters in their twenties! I kept dating women in their 30s with success but it became more and more challenging the older I got.

As I hit my fifties, considered A.D. - "after death" in the USA, I basically gave up on women since I had no interest at all in sagging flaps instead of breasts and wrinkles instead of dimples. I put on 60-70lbs and started thinking about a hobby to keep me occupied until death rescues me. Then I went fishing in Costa Rica.

Now, I am way too busy to even consider some gringa, no matter what she is willing to pay. I dropped the weight and found a chica crazy enough to love an old coot. Some may condemn me and think I'm a fool, but they haven't seen the look in Momma's eyes when she thanks me for her brand new little girl.

Yeah - I've seen them around town. I even had two live with me. Both were sort of like lost souls or drifters. Imagine a poor chica from Jaco or Puntarenas walking around in Times Square. That is about how odd some of these American women seem wandering around Costa Rica.

Funny - the one who lived with me the longest was a pain in the ass about rent. It was like pulling teeth every month. I even put her on a daily or weekly plan. She still never paid. I finally told her that she needed to pay me one way or another (heavily alluding toward the bedroom).

That didn't go over so well, so I helped her pack her bags and chucked her out on the sidewalk. I heard through the grapevine that she got tired of wandering around, so she called her 'rents and begged for a ticket back home.

I think it's a testament to your kindness Chi-T that you allowed her to stay, essentially picking up the slack for the ex that she abandoned Stateside. And look on the bright side. You were probably getting only slightly less sex from her than was her ex before she left the States.


The women I'm talking about OTOH are either tourists or expatriates. Girls on vacation also like to have sex, and a man traveling solo outside S.J. toward the beaches will undoubtedly find a lady looking for some pleasure under the tropical sun.

I was sitting outside the Hotel Amistad during my Memorial Day trip in 2007. A lady from Switzerland, an history/eco-tourist was waiting for her "Great Adventure People" bus to pick her up, along with two fellow female travelers. When I asked how the tour was going, she said "I don't want to see another f*cking church. I came here for adventure." I smiled knowingly and asked her what time she would return to the hotel or whether she'd consider staying behind, promising her some adventure. Sadly, I never closed the deal; her friends emerged from the Amistad and the three were on their way to "another f*cking church." But I have little doubt that Heidi Zurich, probable age 40 and I might have had a lovely time in my room.

Also, in both of the beach areas I've visited, there seemed to be a sort of "swinging culture," where fresh meat of both sexes is welcomed.

As I said, and this is no exageration, I was presented with a dozen viable opportunities during my last visit to S. Puntarenas province, all gringas, some expats, a few tourists...and all were looking for a little strange.
Point is, chicas come in all colors and ages, and many of them travel to C.R. for "adventure." Think with a woman's heart for a moment; what could be more romantic than making love near the roaring surf, with the tropical rain beating on the roof of your rancho, swinging conjoined in a hammock. The howls of the monos congos join your seething sounds of animal passions as the banshee wail that has been trapped inside her body since she was 12 years old, finally emerges. Cue the violins!

I think the bottom line here - ITS A HELL OF A LOT EASIER TO GET LAID IN CR, THAN AMERICA. Punto. The funny thing - its seems like it is easier to get laid anywhere, but America.

When I was in China, picking up little china dolls in discoteques was like shooting fish in a barrel. It was so easy, I almost got bored and wanted a challenge.

The advantage you may have with gringas here - the ones that I have met here all seem soooo lonely. They typically aren't interested in Latinos, although I could be wrong there.

BTW - I still think latinas blow away gringas in bed. Isn't that why we all fly down?

Who said anything about a moose? As I said, most of the targets of opportunity I encountered were fit, not overweight, just older (i.e. 35 - 60).

I have to agree with Burro Suckio on this Shouldn't these types be confined to the AI resorts lined up at the buffet, loading their plates like it is the last meal they are going to get waddling back to their chairs, their cellulite pock marked ass, encased in too tight polyster pants....thighs rubbing together, making sounds like a cricket on a hot summer night more chins than a Chinese phone book

It actually covers what is aka "romance tourism" which is sex between female tourists and usually locals as opposed to other tourists, which Wiki in turn refers to in that article as "holiday flings".

Personally, I have little SEXUAL interest in most women my age. I'm DEFINITELY NOT a secret "chubby chaser" and have even lesser sexual interest in women OLDER than myself. That is EXACTLY WHY I'm willing to pay for younger prettier women that I AM attracted to sexually. And just as they're usually only willing to have sex with this old fart for pay, I'd only be willing to have sex with a women my age if there was something else in it for me. I can afford and get enough sex with the young pretty ones (at least while I'm in CR) that I feel no need AT ALL to pursue sex with older women that I'm not so sexually attracted to EVEN if it is free. Now if such opportunities presented themselves to me back in the states AND the women involved were MUCH more attractive than most women my age seem to be, that would be a different question ... but that is not what we were talking about here.

To each their own. From what I've seen, just as back home, very few of the older gringa tourists in CR are exactly what I'd call "pretty fit and tanned" except perhaps only in comparison to their contemporaries which is not exactly using a very high yardstick. Incidently, I've also always wondered exactly how El C really even knows what how pretty (and particularly tanned) the women he "sees" are? Its not like he can just go up to all of them and feel them up (or even just their face) like he can at our venues in SJ. Maybe he thinks that Susan Boyle SOUNDS pretty or maybe he's relying on a friend's word, but how do we know what his standards are. As I said, to each their own but these reported prospects hold very little interest for me personally.

Cujo, mi compa, to my eyes, any gringa is just a minefield of problems. Now, I would hit a young, sexy one, for free, but the chances of me hitting the kind of stuff you must hit in the States are non-existent!

OTOH, the chances of me dealing with gringa drama are also non-existent!
