Bingo. I had heard she was pretty badly strung out for a while, but thought she looked absolutely stunning when I saw her in there for the first time in ages over the El. S. festivities. Alas, when I got back down to the bar she was gone already. My bad - should have at least gone over and made some contact before leaving the bar...(Mongering 101)

No, like Wendy and Marta, she came in a little later and was not part of the original 5-on-1 group. Only two of those are still around now - Melissa and Cynthia. Two of the others - Karen and Daisy - are much missed though...

I was in Buenos Aires last week, at NewPort, a bar where the chicas
are free agents. An American gringa lesbian was there with no less
than three bodyguards, two of whom were truly hulks. It is a very
crowded place, and she dirty-danced with a couple of the chicas, who
seemed not to know how to deal with her. One came over to tell me
she was surprised at the things she has to do to feed her baby.

Most of the mongers were Argentines and other South Americans. When
the gringa put her hands all over her dance partners, there was this
tension in the air as the Latin mongers stared at her with hate. They
shook their heads and making comments to each other. She
really needed her bodyguards.

I found the scene fascinating. The gringa was young, well-groomed
in mannish clothes that still showed tits, and classy. I had the
feeling that she was having the time of her life
by slumming outside her lesbian community, which is newly substantial
in B. A., but not in the NewPort neighborhood.
