An amazing production. Visually spectacular, a triumph of composition and color. Exquisite composition throughout the entire film. I laughed, I cried, I fell down. It was better than "Cats."

Two thumbs up.

Circus, Mi amigo...it just occurred to me...you don't have a casino!
For an investment of about $3, for some dice and a deck of cards, you
could include a casino in your list of amenities

Good point, although that might invite closer govt. scrutiny, with the new regulations and all. :)

My close friend Ciego:

We here at CCI appreciate the "thumbs up" from a well known and gifted artist-critic. Please know that your quote will be used in our marketing and merchandising. As for the reciprocative payments.....the check is in the mail. Any disagreements should be forwarded to my producer, DonPapi.

You certainly have a good eye I might add.

YO Gringotim:

Ingenious suggestion and one that we here at CCI hit on lightly. We just did not have enough time to expand on it.

Since the suites are for singles or couples there was not a venue for a blackjack box table and box chairs. Plus, security was a concern. Not a good idea to have cash in the park after dark.

But you got me thinking. Deck of cards for say....strip poker. Then again, if you're paying your chica ....why would one be gambling to have her clothes slowly taken off. Maybe "slap jack"....naw....violence in the park. Poker? naw, that's what you're going to do to her anyway.

Rummy? yeah, right.....a lot of vagrants would chime in for that.

How about "Backgammon?"....Whoa, that might bring in trannies that you have not opted for.

Shit, I need to do some research on this. Hell, all the women want to play with me is "Old Maid."

Damn Tim,
This is hurting old Circus' lack of brain cells.
I'll get back to ya.

Why did I take so long to view this? Excellent job, Circus. I will reccommend it to all my visitors!

Did notice that CCI still do not have overnight room for travelers that have more than one guest. This request was put in by me personally last year. Circus whats up with that

And here's another idea for all the weary travellers -

How about a CCI Courtesy Shuttle, to and from the airport ?!?!? That sure would make things nice for those flights that arrive late night or early morning!

Better yet... how about a kiosk at the airport for check-in procedures??? This way, when you get to CCI, you're already checked in, and you're ready to stroll around the park as soon as you arrive!

Just a couple ideas!

You guys seem to be missing the marketing plan of CCI. As I see it they are offering nice accommodations  at a budget price. If they start adding casinos, airport courtesy shuttles, credit card acceptance, etc. they will be forced to raise their price and no longer be affordable to the budget strapped monger.

I think Circus has devised an ingenious plan and he should stick to that old adage "KISS"

Geezzzz......so many requests and CCI is on a shoe-string budget.

YO Gentlemen: All good ideas but with our rates at $2.25 per dia (added fuel charge of 69 cents) we just cannot afford the added expense as I.D. recognized.

LVSteve, my long time bud, IT"S ABOUT TIME YOU VIEWED MY VIDEO !!! You just can't get away from your lovely chica long enough to be with the guys.

And NYG, Damn you horny hombre....can't you just reside yourself to only one chica for the night. Must be a macho thing. I need some of your genes.

And of course Mucho Gusto. If I had your bucks, boats and women I wouldn't have invested in this risky hotel business. I heard about your limousine pick ups at the airport and wild chica rambling parties. Shit, what can I say......I need some of your genes also.

OK, OK....back to the drawing board.
Anybody out there with some low cost amenities and how to charge for them ??? Old Circus and DonPapi have to realize a profit.

It's hard being in business.....especially a chica friendly one.

Well, Id like to get back to the free shuttle service to /from the airport. A limo would be out of character of the hotel. A Shuttle bus would be a little bit more in line. It would allow easy for drop off at your multiple locations. But in true spirit of the Inn I have a solution that not only fits the demographic of the hotel, but allows the added benefit of good advertising. I see the ads now.... Circus Cardboard Inns.... No Chica fees.. in fact FREE HAND JOBS on our exclusive airport shuttle vehicles..

How do you offer free hand jobs from the airport...

Well the shuttle cars are a 1976 Ford Pinto and a 1989 YUGO.

And the "free" hand job.... PUSHING.

Could also offer free "LIP SERVICE"... syphoning gas from other cars.

That nag you rode at the Arenal Lodge is up for sale. For the price of a jar of glue you could have an airport shuttle ride that runs on biofuel. The city would probably give you a subsidy for keeping the grass trim and fertilized.

Yo Circus,

That was one great video. Good work.

( I hardly ever read this general section )
Congratulations on your first (that I know of) business adventure.
I believe that it can't fail. But if it does what are you out ??
5000 Colonies or so ????

Hey a couple of amenities that you may want to consider ?

1) Cardboard toilets http://www.geekologie.com/2008/07/cardb ... iously.php

2) Airport transportation =
A cardboard sign that reads Morrizon park to be used just outside the airport to hitch a ride.
And another at the Inn's that say Airport.
( Or you could just leave a marker at the Inn so anyone could just rip a piece of the Inn off and write what they want.)

3) plastic bags to cover with when it rains.
( You could get them from the supermarcato )

Damn Circus I never would have dreamed that you of all people would ever be a success....

Good job !!!

Tha Nuck

Thanks Nuck:

I did not see your post until today. Thank you for chiming in. Your are certainly one of the most funniest and creative writers that has graced this forum.

Yeah, it's been a long ride in CR and now I'm down to cardboard boxes. Seems like just yesterday when I first posted a comment on the "other" thread about 9 years ago. Being a traveler south of the border for over 35 years has certainly had it's good, the bad and the uglies....along with a few foxes that remain forever in my mind.

This upcoming trip will probably be my last to CR and I will leave it to my "crack" staff to take care of CCI. I had thought about a sequel to DonPapi's and my video but there is probably not much interest out there. Besides, there are some other matters that need attending to. I personally think it was a good piece of work that will survive on it's own.

It's been a fun ride and I have enjoyed the time with the many amigos I have encountered over the years.

Will see a number of you fellows in CR next month if things go well.

Pura Vida.
