I have always stayed at the Delrey and the reason is because of the bartenders. Before finding a novia, it was just sittin around the BlueMarlin, KL, and Monkey Bar talking to them, that made me enjoy the experience. I went back after 8 months absence one time and most everyone remembered me. In fact, for my birthday, they all stuck around after the shift and partied.

As far as the post goes....when we are talking about 50+ bartenders, there are going to be bitches and non-bitches forever. Its our job as patrons to figure out who is good and deserving of propinas and who sucks as a bartender and doesn't.

Here's how I look at it "KLA"... I can talk to the hookers in my down time and I do. Chicas I have never seen sin ropas remember me trip after trip. I can talk to various patrons at the bar and I do. I can also talk to whatever friendly bartender happens to be around. The hookers BS about 50% of the time. The patrons, if drunk, up to 100%, and then I start drinking if they have emotional/mental/stupidy issues. The bartenders that I know maybe 0-10% BS.

I'll tip a little extra with the good ones. Hell, when they don't let me pay from time to time what's a guy to do. The bad ones and there are some bad ones they can kiss my culo!

The great thing about SJO is that everybody is free to do their own thing.

I hay one last year at Best Western cantina in Erazu on my last night out and the 1st 2 beers I paid piecemeal then when I became comfortable she brought me 2 more on tab but at the end tryed to charge me for 3. Contested her and asked to speak to her Jefe. Only 2 bucks but they have to learn some honesty somewhere. I'm a good tipper too and if they are nice and honest give them at least 10%.

Had another server in San Pedro across from mall (upscale Tico sportsbar type place) and this Tica was so nice and wouldn't even accept a propina. There are still some honest ones out there.

Also visited proly for the last time a small bar (next to Seafood rest.) on the 2nd steet back behind the BK in San P. 1st time the waitress was great but the 2nd time the bar back bitch was fat ass, mean and nasty. Wanted to tell her to eff off. No me gusta comer su vagina muy sucia!

Phuck you bitch!!
