Ah yes, but notice the subtle variations in not only the icons chosen, but the quantity utilized and the order they appear in, revealing the complex thought processes and careful consideration behind each and every post...

Keep us posted RT, how was she able to get a tourist visa- isn't that the hardest one to obtain?

Let the games begin. Please report back on your pain and misery, so we all learn from you.

Two years ago - I brought a tica back to Chicago, who occaisonally worked the BB. She also had a tourism business and spoke great english. She lived in the US for a period and already had a US passport. I had no plans to have a relationship. Just told her she could hang and explore the city for a few weeks. She really seemed like a great chick.

Thank god, I didn't sponsor her!!! Within two days, I was ready to ship her back to CR via any method possible, including the back of a donkey.

I even locked her out of my house one night, because she was drunk beyhond belief everyday and pissing me off. Buy me this. Buy me that. Take me here. Take me there. Guess what??? She found a way to break-in. After day 3, I changed her ticket and flew her back on the next flight out. The entire way to the airport she was crying and begging for taxi money in CR. I told her NO and that she could take the bus back to Jaco.

THIS IS ALL YOUR CHOICE MAN. YOU'VE BEEN FOREWARNED.

I forgot to add - she never once said thank you and never once apologized for her raunchy and abusive behavior. Even my mexicana friends thought she was completely pitiful. When I locked her out, she called them for help. They said - no way...

When I lived in the States,I set up a Tica (the schoolteacher for the few who knew her) to come to stay with me for a couple of days. (she already had a green card)I also set her up to work for an escort agency for a week while she was there. I told her that she would probably CLEAR around $5000 for the week after expenses. I paid for her airline ticket ($600) with the understanding that she could pay me back AFTER she worked and made all the money. Well she worked for 3 days and her k*d got sick in CR so she decided to return early. She leaves with about $250 in phone calls because the genius keeps checking on her k*d FROM THE HOTEL PHONE instead of getting a phone card. So guess who gets stuck with the airfare AND the phone bill. Yep,me,about $900 total just trying to help out a chica. She goes home with the $3500 she made in just 3 days and sticks the expenses up my ass. Yep,that's how lessons are learned. The dumb thing about it is that if she had paid the expenses, the owner of the agency would have loved to have her back for regular trips. So for $900 the chica lost out on probably $20,000/year for years to come, for just 4 weeks work. Nobody said they were the smartest chicas in the world.

Its funny how these chicas over-time just learn to view us as objects. I learned my lesson 2 years ago. This girl ended up manipulating over a thousand dollars out of me, which included airfare, and the ALL CRAP I had to buy her to get her to shut-up over the course of about 4 days.

Never once, did I hear a thank you or any sense of appreciation. Its funny... she still calls me once in a while. I give her a quick "hi. phuck you and goodbye." Its like she is still phishing for a soft spot.

Guys,

YOU'RE SLACKING MUCHO GUSTO... one that slipped past the truth-police's radar!!

You're all being had... I' ve been pretty knee-deep in terms of acquiring U.S. visas, and this guy (unless he did seom SERIOUS grease-palming) is flat out full-of-shit.

So here's the process for a tourist visa (someone please correct me where I'm wrong, but I'm not posting this on hear-say, I've had to personally go through this process with a friend for a tourist visa 2x in the last year and a half):

You call the Embassy and ask for an appointment. During this phone call, you provide basic information (i.e., cedula #, passport information, basic identifying information, etc.) and you are given an interview appointment THREE MONTHS OUT (thus the bullshit when I saw the 18 day comment). The three months are used for conducting background check and "intelligence gathering."

So the day of the interviews arrives, and you need to have paperwork filled out prior to arriving (you can either get this paperwork on the web or go to embassy to pick it up prior to the appointment). In addition, you must have your passport, 2x2 pics of yourself, and a receipt from Banco National verifying that you paid the $100 non-refundable fee for this process (even if you get denied, they keep the money). And here's where you actually sit in front of a person and are interviewed... Why, when who what etc...

Here's the reality of it all. They look at things such as bank accounts, assets and properties and such to make discoveries on things that will "motivate" you to come back and not be a fugitive from the country. A small percentage of people actually get approved... Escpecially since 9/11, the percentages of visa approvals has gone down even more.

IF you are approved, then you submit the 2x2 pics and paperwork and although I have heard of people getting it immediately, it generally takes a minimum of 3-7 business days for them to make your visa (similar to how you CAN get your passport here in the U.S. in 24 hours, but it's more common to have to wait 2-6 weeks).

Ok, so now fast-forwarding and applying all this to our buddy Rolltide. His whore-gf managed to miraculously crunch a three-to-four and a half month process and crunch it down to 2 weeks... BULLSHIT.

Not only that, remember that they look for acconts with money, assets and properties as a HUGE motivating factor for approval. I will make the assumption that since his gf is 1)single 2)with three K*ds and 3)a cock-smoker-for-hire, she probably doesn't have much in terms of accounts, assets or properties...

I guess what I'm trying to say, is that I could bet a jagerbomb to anyone that this guy is completely full of shit. I wish him the best if he DID manage to pull this off in 18 days with his whore-gf, but it's REALLY, REALLY, REDICULOUSLY far-fetched.... Sick'em, Mucho Gusto!!

By the way, Rolltide, how did the man-chowder taste on your first kiss? HA!
