I have a Tica whom I see almost exclusively now, aside from a few daytime trips to the ZB, did four straight TLNs with her on my Thanksgiving trip. I have her number, and after the first meeting, we set a time for the next night and she comes to the hotel on her own. However, I won't call her a "novia", my preferred term is "regular", or maybe "part-time novia"--she only sees you while you're there, but once gone who knows what she does.

A better term though might be "sugar babe". There are "sugar dating" sites out there, like sugardaddie.com, that are about women looking for men to pamper them--sex is usually involved but it is more about companionship in return for some financial compensation, i.e. "sugar". That's how I think of my Tica regular, she's my Costa Rican sugar babe.

In jest, what is her name and where does she hang? I'm looking for something new to bang for the evening.

Oh Burt you are so so wrong, a real spoiled sport. My novia is NOT a prostitute any more and I can prove it. I know for sure because I send her $200 per week so she doesnt have to work in that filthy trade any longer. And thats not all. These threads about guys falling in love with the working chicas used to rile me up and make me want to help the World cure this affliction. However after MANY failures to educate the masses,I've come to realize that guys in love (as in Novias) don't want to hear what you have to say. So therefore as of now,I don't give a shit what you sickies do and how much it costs you(finacially and emotionally) to believe the unbelievable. Probably the best response to the thread. Guys like me who have been on this board for almost 3 years have seen this type of post come and go. Bottom line is that this issue is NOT black and white. Too many variable in play to say "one size fits all." This is a game of sex,money,love,hate,deception,ego,friendship,survival for the chica,culture and the list goes on. My opinion, simple as it may be, is that each individual will have to go through the situation and determine for themselves what is right and what is wrong. What is a lie and what is real. Nothing anyone can say will change the other persons mind and outlook. So all of this is just chatter. Everyone has a YMMV. I don't think anyone has a right to judge either way. The only person you should care about is yourself. You, yourself will find the answers in time.

Here we go with the "semi-pro" debate again Do they really exist or are they a mysterious anomoly only seen by few men during the full moon? (or at the end of the month when the rent's due) Why does this term bother some guys so much?
Granted it's usually a short, transitional stage for most but the term does fit a chica new to the biz only doing it occasionally. I believe in the semi-pro anyway, they are more real than novias but harder to find..
