Okay, I have to do my part to keep this thread going. I don't know if this has been covered before and, to be honest, I didn't have the patience to read back through this entire thread, but nothing came up in a search. I have 2 questions.
1) Pubic hair is of a much different consistency than facial hair. What do you guys that shave use for shave cream? Of course there is always the regular mens facial shave cream (whether mentholated, sensitive skin or whatever variety) that we all already have in our bathroom cabinets. But I saw somewhere that the ladies have a special shave cream for their nether regions called "Coochy Shave". Has anyone here tried that (that is willing to admit it)?
2) For you guys that clear the backboard, how do you handle the transition? Presumably your body hair doesn't stop at the pubic border. Most of us have some level of belly and chest hair. Where do you stop? And doesn't it look kinda funny going from a completely hairless crotch region to a sudden line of hairiness?
Just when you think it has all been covered....
I use just standard shaving cream - the mentholated stuff can feel a bit too intense.
RE - the backboard. I have light body hair so there is not a distinct line. I shave up to my bellybutton so I have no hair below my chest, the hair on which grows pretty thick. I am fairly hairy on the legs. To make that transition, I shave lightly down the leg to blend the hair length. The end result looks pretty decent.
I found that it did take some time before I started not to get ingrown hairs on the backboard. For some reason I have never had an ingrown hair on the sack.
My advice to those more hairy would be to shave the balls clean - this is surprisingly easy - and then use electric clippers to shave the backboard hair down to 1/8 to 1/4 inch or so and then blend the hair length into the legs and abdomen. Not shaving the backboard bare is probably the best advice for the newbie shaver becuase you will stand to get some serious razor burn which not only looks awful but breaks the skin and makes me feel we are more open to contracting skin afflications from chicas.
