I'm super-happy with my nikon coolpix S1. I bought for $289 about a year ago, prices have dropped since then. Super thin & lightweight-easy to put in pocket & forget it's even there when walking to zona blue -no bulge in pants-except for bulge in crotch anticipating excellent session at zona blue.. Big 2.5 inch screen-chicas love to look @ the photos you've taken of them for your evil purposes later. Self-timer & movie capability. Easily fits into pocket of terma robe when in Rio. A 10 star performer.

CompUSA right now has a 7MP Sony for $250 w/2.5 inch viewfinder. If I didn't just buy a 1G sd card for my Kodak, I'd go for it.
OBTW, I can take 60 minute videos with the Kodak so I'm not unhappy. At 5MP, it takes great pics, but is a little thick for my pocket.

You can make that work to your advantage... with a big bulge, they'll think you have a fat wallet.

All the newer digital cameras take great pics for the most part I have found. Canons always seem very well rated & repected. The one thing that the Kodak has going for it is it is very good at making movies with sound even at pretty low light!! :P Not as good as a good camcorder but pretty damn good. Also it has a big advantage in that it uses mp4 compression which means you can get 32 minutes of video on a 1 gig chip. It also has a better form of jpg compression that it uses to compress your photos to smaller files while it retains it's great quality look. I compared this to a same mega pixil Sony & the pics were not only better but smaller. The sony could only get about 14 minutes of video on a 1 gig chip.

Also if you buy the large gig chips your camera may not read them right so test before buying.

In my humble opinion nothing beats a nice optical zoom, I got the Kodak DX7590 ~$300 5mp, 10x optical zoom, 3x digital zoom. Takes movies with sound also. Check it out.

With all this feedback on digital camera's maybe it's time to consider a contest. Each person pays a couple of dollars to enter and submit their best shot of their best chica with details of which camera was used and then the winner (decided by Admin. or a panel of CRT'ers) gets a session or 2 at ZB with the proceeds.

OK, mine are already posted in the VIP gallery "Ladies Photos from all over the world".
#3506 & #3507 - Barbara from Terma 4X4 in Rio.

Taken with a Canon A75 by a rank amateur photographer.

The only problem was since the room was sort of dark I couldn't really see the image very well for framing. Fortunately it worked out.

#3515 is a personal favorite. Too bad she kept the T-shirt.

Extremely happy with both of my Fuji cameras, both will accept my 1 GB card and both have the video capture mode uo to 99 minutes with the 1 GB card, can set the E550 from 14 to 99 minutes (different quality or get about 20 minutes with my F450 (hard to find, last years model, replaced by the Z1 and f10 models)

Check out pics 2487, 2878...taked with the Fuji e550...Pic 3419 tajen with the F450

Hope this helps.......
