To answer some questions based on past experience.

The BM has a tarp put over it and only the casino/restaurant are semi-open during this time. However, once being a hotel guest, I was able to get a bottle of vodka to bring to the room but for triple price.

Everything else SUCKS. Worse than Semana Santa, because at least for Semana Santa everyone knows to buy their booze beforehand and they usually all head to the beach and party...

It is my understanding from this thread that there is no booze all day Sat and Sun but private parties are okay. Hell we can have a private party on Super bowl sunday and someone (like me) can throw one on Sat.
Admin....what do you think?

YO Booze Craved CRT's:

Personally I find the lack of alcohol on Super B. time a refreshing thing. You can be sober and enjoy one another's close company and be clean of spirits and ugliness. To hell with the football. You can now watch the televised CR election returns and feel much closer to the honest politics that CR has long been known to practice. This could be your return to sobriety and you will feel a better person as a result.

Old Circus will monitor this from his sanctuary in the Pits of Jax along with the chips, salsa and a rare few mini vodkas........in moderation of course.

With you in spirits......I mean spirit.

Maybe we can get Bill to hold a Party and if you are not there on time, your out. We lock the doors! :P

A flat fee which would cover food and open bar........just like the Alehouses do here in FLA. They close for the Superbowl.....Private party!

Bill, I want a cut for this idea or at least free admission. (and chica of my choice)

Bill has Pm'ed me and stated that they are working on the Private SuperBowl party. Sounds promising, flat fee all inclusive. :P

I was at a hotel in Flamingo Bay for the last election, and they went around the day before and made sure that everyone had bottles of their choice( at an exhorbitant price) for the two day election. It wasn't Super Bowl, however, so it will be interesting to see how it works out this election

OR we could have it LVSteve's condo. 8) There is a large pool/BBQ area that could easily handle the crowd :D :D
