I've always admitted that I used to send my girl money. If it feels right to you then do it. Who cares. I know, lots of guys will think you are a "sap" or "sucker" or "weak." Who cares. I think SOME guys can't afford to send the money therefore, they like to rip on a guy who does. I think others have been hurt emotionally and financially...therefore ripping on a guy who sends money. I've always held that you can let the K*D in the candy store...just don't give them the key. Anyway, good for you. But, I do agree that you need to keep your eyes open and always have the bullshit detector up and running.

If it makes you feel any better, I too have been sending dinero to CR. I've been sending my Novia 1,200 colones a week to stay true to me. Also, I've been sending 1,000 colones to my contact and spy, Toni the transvestite. Toni tells me that my novia is being true and appreciates the dinero I've been sending......OK, perhaps I'm spending a bit much but I can't get chicas like you and other stud muffins can.

Toni tells me that my novia also got a new job cleaning rooms at the Del Rey. Says she usually goes up and cleans about 6 or 7 rooms a night for men tourists. She does not work for the hotel so apparantly she felt that room service is not doing their job adequately. She is definitely one of a kind to provide that type of service. It makes me proud to know that she is doing honest work and saving herself for me.

At least I can sleep at night knowing my chica is loved and respected.

Any chica who asks for money is not just asking for money from you, but has a list of suckers a mile long. It doesn't matter if you have slept with her or not. If you haven't then you are a bigger sucker than I thought.

The list of reasons for why they need the money is endless. Sick relatives who need operations or medicines is usually number one.

As to thinking that you need to send the money to make they stay true to you, think again. There are no "ticas fieles" in Costa rica. The only "fiel" tica is fiel to the money.

Latinas make the worlds best putas, but DO NOT think that you can have a long term relationship of fidelity with them. Trust me on this, I have had two colombian wives.

Their highest and best use is as an object of sexual desire, to be paid by the hour.

Some on this thread seem to not understand what Zig has plainly stated. There are those of you who have never had the pleasure of meeting this fun and good hearted man. If you had met him you would have a clearer understanding that he is well traveled, respects other cultures, certainly savy and knows a bunch about this hobby that many here enjoy.

I missed seeing this lady who was on her way to meet Zig by about 45 minutes because I was headed back for my return flight. His discription of her and the way he got charged when talking about her.......told me a lot about her. I'm surprised at how some of you in lecturing the do's and don'ts miss the point. He is just "investing" a simple $100. the same amount I've seen some of our members pay for 5's and 6's out of the DR, not to mention, loose on one hand of black jack. And he gets a good feeling personally by doing it.

Fellows, I envy that he can find that warm fuzzy feeling along with all the 30 minute and hour lays he has notched. I enjoy seeing that same feeling when I visit with King Costa and his lady or Tman and his novia......Zig has not gotten to that extent but that "feeling" is so refreshing in the cold dinero impaired Gulch.

It's been a long time since I shared that "feeling" with a female companion. That little space of time that seems to stand still. Old Circus would kind of like to feel that innocent tingling again. Kind of like when I first kissed pretty little Ebbie Jo over 52 years ago. Did not have $100 but I shared my 50 cents lunch money on two sodas, chips and a Brock candy bar. Damn, what a warm feeling.

You know what they say, opinions are like a*&&*s, everyone has one, and some stink more than others. Zig, while I have not met you, you seem like a great guy. You also have more experience in this game than I do, so who am I to give advice? Yet, even those who have more experience than you certainly do not have all the answers.

What I like to do with advice is to let it wash over me, reflect upon it, see what resonates as true, and what sticks in my side. Both are valuable and can help teach us. Sometimes when people say ridiculous, judgmental things to us (not saying that anyone here has done that, so relax), it is our response to such things that is valuable.

But so much for the PSYCHman ABable. Regardless of whether or not your “investment” pans out, you followed your heart and gave of it. If it becomes a pattern, if you are getting used over time, that is another story- and I am sure you will make good choices for yourself around that.

Now, the notion that Latinas are only good as Putas and not for relationships? I have heard the same things mentioned about gringas, and basically think both sets of statements have more to do with those making the evaluations than globally with huge aggregates of human beings. ALL Latinas are not this. ALL gringas are not that. I know I am going to get slammed for that one (Gee, Psychman is so PC, blab la), but look, would we make the same goofy generalities about ourselves? Would we listen or care what the ecotourists say about Mongers? Would their generalities (which I have heard) be accurate?

I can feel you! We all live with the hopes & dreams of meeting someone precious and genuine, a "princesa hermosa". Trust and faith is a big part of this and I hope this one pans out.

Sept is a little under a couple of months away, You'll have a good idea by the time you get there what's up. Let's see how many more requests you get by that time.

I was in your shoes before and traveliing once a month to visit my novia. Maybe I got lucky when she got deported back to Cali, but I sure do miss her. We got along great and the sex was awesome. She liked her whisky a little too much and it got her in trouble with immigration.

I wish you the best of luck in this potential relationship. But, keep your guard up and your eyes open. We all know that the sight of a beautiful women we are smitten with can cloud our judgement.
