I have been listening.

I received an e-mail from my buddy who now assures me that he has his feet on the ground and is aware of the fantasy of love. We shall see next week.

If you see a middle aged guy with dark hair, with his arm around a girl in the BM bar, looking to be in love and sipping a beer that is him. Wait, that could be anybody.

:)

With the huge number of females in C.R. looking for a gringo, why go after a working girl ??? It won't work with a vast majority of regular girls, but with a working girl the odds are reduced to near ZERO.

There is a simple answer to that, as others (including King Costa, Tman, et. al.) have pointed out in the past. To pursue a 'regular' chica takes TIME and PATIENCE, which for whatever reason, most Gringo visitors to CR don't have. It takes a lot of work. There also are the cultural barriers that must be dealt with. The 'working' chicas are, for the most part, readily and easily available and attainable with little time and effort required.

If the point is a "real" relationship, then dealing with a working gril is like driving towards a brick wall at 100 mph. If it is "GFE" then ok.

I am also amazed when the $$$ issues start to be thrown around. I find it cheaper to date, then to go out with girls you end up paying cien.

I'm no Brad Pitt, but found it easy to have several beautiful non-working females. Look, if you want one with zero hassle, and for a set price, go for a DR girl, but looking for anything beyond that is setting ones self up for failure, IMO.

Why spend the emotional capitol and the money on something which will never work, when you can invest less, and actually have a chance at sucess ???

Have him read through all these posts. I met a Tica @ the Beatle Bar and she just blew me away. She was the perfect latina for me. I was gone about 1 1/2 months and she asked for $$ to help get school supplies for one of her Ch*ldren... stupid me sent the money. I then set up a whole week with her in march, a couple of gifts, perfume and a window A/C unit. Had a great time had use of her car etc.. Left and within a week another request for money. I told her I'd have to think about it. Meanwhile I was reading all the posts pertaining to this much discussed topic and told her if she would go get a legitimate job I would consider helping her, until then no money!!! I hadn't heard from her in a couple of weeks and got a message on my phone today." Mi Amore why you no call me anymore?" As much as I like this Tica Our brethren @ CRT have been most helpful in opening this gringos eyes. I will not call her. To add iceing on the cake I have a favorite colombiana I met in St. Marrten that is in Aruba now and wants to leave, also wants me to send her $700. for "debt that must be paid" I say Bullsh*t and I'll see you guys in the gulch

Let her prove to you that she can handle having more than a few dollars in her hand at one time. Then MAYBE you help her. The requests for this, that and the other will never end. Good job.

WALKER......................

Tell you friend to pm me if he want's more info.

Sooner or later the money request comes and the girl goes away and on to someone who will play ( Pay)

I'm in this situation right now ...met a great girl, new to the buisness,. Spent all of my last trip ( 4 days ) with her. I 'm a cheap bastard so i never over paid her ....she spent every night with me and never asked about money. Then wham........3 weeks after I'm gone , I get the standard E-mail. asking for money ?? Buisness is bad ...blah ,blah, blah

I never responded, and haven't heard from her in 3 weeks. I'll probably send her the "I'm dissappointed" response, but I'm sure she found someone else to give her some quck cash.

All the info the others have given you is right on the money. Why would you send money to someone you don't even know. Just because you F**ked her.
