I'm sorry to hear that Flander passed away. I never met him but he was one of us. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP brother!

Good bye my friend. I will miss you at the Happy hours and at the blackjack tables. You and I shared some fun times,and I am a happier person because of that. Flander liked to tell everyone that he was the most experienced mongerer,and since he was married 5 times and always enjoyed the company of a lady,I never doubted him.

I never had the pleasure of meeting our brother Flander however, his passing saddens me because it means our ranks have been diminished and will never have the benefit of further information and wisdom that he possessed and shared.

I am deeply sorry to lose my good friend Flander and will miss all the great times we spent together.

I do take solace in knowing that we brought him a ton of pleasure before he died and gave him an opportunity to just be one of the guys.

Last May, Flander and I were on the same plane from Houston. We also had rooms on the same floor of the Prez and I have a couple of pics of him with his girl of that night. I would also like to donate a monument/marker for him if needed.

It is nice to see the posts honoring Flander.

As for the memorial/marker I am not sure. The information forwarded to me was that there would be no service, memorial, or flowers.

I am sure that Flander is pleased with the posts and as King Costa pointed out Flander would be tipping a Johnny Walker Red and water and sharing stories with all at happy hour.
