It very unlikely that any Tica's lurk on the site or have joined the VIP section. If there were a Tica or more who went over the post they would for the most part find that text really were by Gentleman who enjoy Costa Rica.

None of the text that I have read are from people who are out to take advantage or hurt other people, unless of course it is another member and makes for a good joke. :lol:

I have not found any of the text directed at being hurtful or demeaning to any of the women, which is why I joined. This site is great in that it lets guys share info and experiences from trips to help other have safe and enjoyable trips.

If Tica's on the program got onto the site the scenario would be PM's to members from women wanting money or offers to meet them when they arrive, which if I am not mistaken was from a previous post about of how GF's knew when members would be arriving. (?)

Besides the only down side of having Tica's write in would be finding out what they think of the male Gringo's. Lets face it we are walking talking ATM's for most of them when it comes right down to it.

I agree but there's a part of me that feels there may be one or two chicas who want to know how they compare with others. More power to all of them. I still like www.costaricagringos.com whatever that's going to be.

I'm sure Admins would be more interested in the cost of that domain. Maybe it'll end up as a website for Chicas. Who knows?

If we are talking about the local chicas in this thread I think it is a moot point. Even the girls I know down here who can speak good English can't read or write it worth a damn. I can't see more than 1% making heads or tails out of this forum. And as for the free translators online, they don't translate that well.

I think:

1. Nothing can stop a Tica from lurking or reading. Unless things have changed, I don't believe there is a chromosome test to get a user ID and password.

2. I doubt there are many who would bother or find anything if they did, since even interested NEWBIES seem to have problems finding the most basic information. I doubt a Tica could find a post about herself assuming there even was one. Perhaps they WOULD be interested in copying some of the form letters

3. As far as posting goes, why would they bother? They don't need a computer discussion forum to exchange information, they have their own system: Telleachother. The only posts I might forsee from a chica would be 'Dear everybody, my bebe is muy sick and needs school clothes and my madre is sick and need school clothes and please can you get me some money?'

4. If I were married (perish the thought) I would be much more concerned about wives READING what's here rather than allowing females to POST here. Although I GUESS it's possible to have a post like this: Does anybody know my son of a bitch husband, John Q. Monger of Anytown, USA? I think we don't give enough credit to chicas, particularly those that can read ballcaps or tshirts with our logo on it. Anyone with half a brain and easy access to the Internet can type www.costaricaticas.com at the keyboard and hit the enter key. Do you honestly think none of us has ever layed back in bed, chica at our side, and surfed the net. And, after viewing our 'favorite' sites, accidently clicked on our site, and turning to our chica and say: "Oops! Look at this site. Is that a picture of you?"
