I know of many Colombianas who came to work at the DR to support their families and also looking for a husband. I know 10 of them are now happily married and living in Switzerland, Italy, Germany and the US. After talking with #2 favorita, 3 Colombianas went back to Cali with their husband to purchase properties and rent them out. So there are many working girls who do not know how to manage their money but there are also many who know what and why they are here working at the DR.

Some of the Ticas handle their money well. In February 1998 I saw a young girl on what was her second or third day at work. She came to the Blue Marlin like many young girls to support a young one. Over the following years on each trip I would see her at least once just to see how she was doing. This girl has it together. She owns her own home and to style shops. This past August when I saw her last she was excited because she got the paperwork approved to buy her mother a house. Yes she is the exception but it can happen.

This reminds me of something i saw happen regurlaly. Allot of Taxi drivers would go on vacation to Dominican Republic (back when flights were economical) mostly to monger. But eventually they would fall hook line and sinker for some young dominican girl. Usually a pro although some did fall for farm girls from the country. Eventually marrying and bringing them back to Puerto Rico. 8 months latter we had waves and waves of divorces.

Hence why whenever i have a GFE and the girl wants me to call her or wants me to be "faithfull" all i hear in my head is

Here's my two cents;
I know a chica that worked at one of the famous MP's we mongers frequent. After being with her a couple of times, I got her phone number and to this day, she comes to see me once a week.
During the time I've known her, she had been attending university classes for computer sciences. About 4 months ago, she quite the MP and took a legit job at a computer wholesaler working in the back office. She is the sole support of her mother, daughter, sister and her sisters K*D. She is the only one that works.
The job dosen't pay much and she still sees a couple of mongers like me once a week to suplement but I am impressed the way she got herself out of the business.
She still goes to school to this day.

My friend used to Date a working girl from one of the strip bars/brothels. It was very stormy and melodramatic relationship. Like allot of the girls who work in this industry she had what i like to call "the curse" its problems that may affect every working girl.

1) No sense of money management. She had to live in a beach front property which was way overpriced. She had to eat at expensive resturants, take trips, buy TV's, palm pilots, laptops, buy a stylish car. And this would always leave her in a bind with rent because not everyday was a pay day. My friend wound up paying her rent since he was living there and they would have been evicted.

2)She was an alcholic. Like allot of these girls they have no sense of responsibilty and they party like rockstars. This is why some start drug habbits that lead to serious addictions.

Eventually the relationship self destructed. But he still heard from her since she would come around like a stray cat for affection. They gave each other a chance with her quitting the bussiness and getting a normal job. She went to AA and got help.

I guess you're expecting the happy ending?

Sorry to disapoint you, she wound up going back to the life. After all once you make a grand a night how can you leave that to get a regular paycheck? Its almost like quitting heroin i would imagine.

Last i heard she had some suggar daddy who was 20 years her senior. He was dying of cancer and he payed everything she wanted. Guess what she still goes back to my buddy and has sex with him every 3 months. All the time saying she loves him and then turning around and leaving him only to return 3 months latter with another sob story about her being alone in the world. Girls like these are damaged goods guys. So keep that in mind next time some chica is telling you that you are her one and only love.

Talk about professional, the columbian I hooked up with in BM drafted a contract in detail regarding all negotiations and what she would/would not do. It had me in stitches. She was so frickin' cool. I had to smile at her professionalism. She's a student and budgets her money will, she knows how much she needs to make to survive for the week/months and she'll work up until she meets those needs. She also talked about her future plans. No husband, no boyfriend, no K*ds, her career is the only thing that matters to her at this point. She was pretty business savvy as well, she has her sights on the future... lots of business ideas. She said she hates having to sleep with strangers but she has to do what she has to do in order to get her where she wants to go... and she said she wants to make sure that when she has ch*ldren they don't have to do what she's doing. It's tough for a lot of these g*rls. And I know by definition they're "hookers" but I think there's something to be said for a crackhead hooker walking down Madison Ave in Chicago and a young tica working to better herself and or help the family out. I treat all the girls with respect... and like it's been mentioned in prior posts... treat them with respect and you get that back in tenfold. Ain't that the truth... at least from my limited experience.

They hustle for a living normally a honest living. My friend's brother used to bring 5 year old cars in from the states because at 5 years old, the amount of tax you paid was minimum. He had a nice middle class house and was about to build an upper middle class house. Other family I knew were ranchers and others were factory owners, and they all started with nothing.

I am glad someone finally pointed out that the poor sick bar girls are making probably twice if not three times the amount of money that someone at the top of the legitimate pay scale makes. Hopefully this will make all the guys sending money to their poor sick BM Ticas think twice especially when she could probably give them a run for their money in terms of personal finance.

Actually, Costa Rica has pretty good wealth distribution and has one of the larger middle classes percentage wise in Latin America. The big difference is that middle class in CR leads a much more modest lifestyle than middle class in the States.

I'd rather have a 4some with 3 sisters...
