Some of us "Guys", know the shit storm that he caused for a lot of girls due to his posting pics of them without their permission to be the Big Man of Mongering. That was just the tip of the iceburg. Why do you think he started promoting the DR? Because he was either going to get the shit kicked out of him in CR for some of the crap he pulled with some of the girls. Then he started promoting Sosua and look what happened there, asshole brought it into the limelight and many people were arrestted and deported from the country losing hundreds of thousands of dollars. Businesses were closed and the Sosua has not recovered nor will it probably ever be like it was. He is banned from ever going to the DR again. Was Sosua his fault, no not entirely but he brought a huge amount of attention to what was going on. How many Business owners that knew him do you think would be happy to see him?? Next he returns to CR and ends up in jail for almost 2 years. Did he deserve it, hell no but come on the guy had his head thumped with someones dick in the DR you think he would learn. Nope more videos and updates on CR. The guy is a clown that has negatively affected the hobby in a much larger way than you think, I don't think we will ever know how much damage he has done. Before you jump to your soapbox and lash out at those of us who have a tad bit more information on his antics read through some of the threads on this board and you will find out about some of the girls lives he turned upside down and got them beat on by their boyfriends, husbands, parents who did not know what they were doing for work...........

There are real problems in the world...put some energy into doing something good...FFS!

A useless post on every level. First, keep your phucking political agenda off the board. Second, you clearly have no idea what the man has done. His behavior harmed many women. His arrogance harmed the hobby in two countries. The attention idiots like him seek and bring to the hobby has been part of what has lead to a very aggressive, anti sex-tourist campaign in Medellin and all of Colombia (watch out boys).

And for those who say he learned his lesson- I checked out his facebook page. The tool very recently referred to "New Life" as a geographical marker.

First, try attacking an argument, not the person. Second, I never said he was promoting sex tourism. However, a guy that was arrested and has made an international name for himself as a promoter of sex tourism giving any kind of mention on the internet about a Phuck parlor is insane. You don't think local and national authorities in Colombia are not paying attention to him? You don't think his case has made it to their computer system?

If CD finds a new Dan and starts posting internet content like a “CubaDave live from New Life” Series, he does indeed run the risk of getting himself in the same pickle or worse. I think he gets that. I think he gets that his lack of discretion and causing Costa Rica to be embarrassed was the main impetus for those that wanted to see him rot in jail. When I saw him I directly discussed this with him and he seemed to agree.

BUT...Whatever he chooses to do, I don’t see him having any effect on what goes on in Colombia. He is really not the big deal some people think. Costa Rica, the DR both had campaigns against the hobby before CD went live on the internet. He became a poster boy for their cause, he didn’t “cause” the campaigns themselves. When Chinchilla was elected in 2010 she was very clear about her stance about not wanting CR to be a hobby destination.

Anyone reading this thread remember the CRT Anniversary party of 2008? The TV Cameras setting up outside the SL? The authorities looking for BB57 in the Rey? That all happened when CD was still more interested in posting himself shirtless with every hoe in Zona Blue on the CRT photo gallery.

LaDiablo and Hank Daman question for you. How often do you get to Colombia? Are you really concerned that CD, whatever he does will negatively affect your own personal experience there? In fact, is there anyone on this thread a regular visitor to Colombia that is seriously concerned Dave will “ruin” the “scene” ?? If so, please explain.
