RIP Guy. As others did, I first met him at the Dunn Inn many years ago. He was very helpful, showing us the recent renovations they made there at the time.

As I recall, at one time he used to live in or near Westlake Village in Southern CA. which is just down the road from me. Never had the chance to meet him but we did exchange messages on multiple occasions. Seemed like a very nice person. R.I.P. my friend.

wow, I guess I should check out CRT more often- did not know of Guy's passing. Like so many others, he was helpful to me and I met him also when he managed the DI. A nice guy who was so helpful and supportive of Yorleny; recall being with them one time when they both talked about each other in my presence and I was happy to see them so happy with each other. My guess is that he made sure to take care of her as best he could so she would be OK in the future (don't know that for sure but speculation on my part).

easy

RIP Friend. Guy I have known since the DI....always loved seeing him and chating with him when I came to town. Guy was my source of SJ gossip, the insider I always could count on. He always steered me in the right direction. Be well, rest well pal.

Wow, Sad to hear. Me and a friend were down many years ago and met him at the Dunn Inn, he made us feel like special friends of his not just acquaintances, I remember he was just a few years older than me. Life is short, treasure every moment.

He earned the name "Grand" because he was grand to so many people, he gave us his personal phone number and told us to call if we needed any help, any questions, got in any trouble...I truly felt like we had a brother available if we needed him. RIP Guy, and thank you for your grace, class and hospitality. :!:
