Sadly almost every one of us has similar stories we could tell! thou most guys will not admit to getting snookered by a chica. I wish I had a dollar for every time I have "fallen" for one of them and their scams. When I post comments and opinions like the earlier post here they are based on personal experience! Experiences that have happened to me and to friends. The really sad thing is most of these experiences have happened more than once! Yep I am a slow learner!

I fell for a REY bartender shortly after moving here. Had one date with her (it was a great time). Then she had a birthday! I spent about $100 on a gift for her (this after only one date). her reaction to the gift!! She had expected more from me!! Shortly afterwards she left for Europe to go to grad school (she had been a student here). About a year later she returned and dumb- dumb me tried to restart the relationship! AND SHE PULLED THE SAME CRAP--I DID NOT SPEND ENOUGH ON HER!!

I met a fantastic chica- very good looking and the best sex I had ever had- in a MP several years ago. I fell very hard for her and over the next few years I very often spent money I really did not have on her and her daughter. The more I did, the more she expected. She lied, she used me, and she was doing the same things to at least 3 other guys at the same time. I called it quits with her more times than I can remember over a 4 year period, and every time I promised myself "never again"!! But I kept going back!! Luckily for me I met her sister or I probably would have never been able to stay away from her! Oh, her sister is the best I ever had!!!!! lucky for me she (the sister) now lives in the USA or I would probably be repeating the same mistakes with her!!!

I often tell guys that the only time I ever paid $80 here was also the worst experience I ever had! I spent a week talking to this (del REY) chica. She would not come down from $80 and she had all kinds of "restrictions" that she would not give up. After a week of telling myself not to be an idiot, I just could not leave for the states without the experience, so I gave in. Paid up front, accepted a covered (and terrible) BJ, would not even take he bra off, started fussing because I had not finished after 10 minutes, and would not let me touch her with my hands!! Kicked her out after about 20 minutes!!

As I said, when I post dos and don'ts, it is based on experiences from making the same mistakes!!

I've posted about it many times - and this is NOT directed at you; just a general comment :

Costa Rica is no different than any other place in the world - while its possible to hook up for a night - and in fact happens in America frequently - in many countries, especially those where its the norm for Ch*ldren to live with their parents until marage - a girl is looking for more. Not excusing her cockteasing in any way.

I'm not a dummy - I read the story and fully take your point - this girl played you, probably because:

She is a C*ck teasing cunt
She thought you might gamble <i.e. lose> more if you thought you were going to have a date at the end of the night - well, morning, actually.

I agree with you. There are many, many non-working girls that would like to find a gringo and have a shot at a better life, but to anyone interested in bringing one home, keep in mind that regardless of how 'rich' you are, you will only be 'attractive' to the bottom-level of their society. No hot, intelligent tica from good stock is looking for a 'rescue'. In fact, she's probably got a better life now than you could provide to her.

As so many vets have stated, just bring your lust to Costa Rica. Leave the home stuff at home.

True story:

About a year ago, I bump into this fairly young guy in the hotel lobby - he tells me he has a girl up in his room, a non pro - and she will not Phuck - he said he had the worst case of blue balls ever. (I could make this a lot longer, but you get the point)

Now, this guy was young - I'm talking late 20's young, and decent looking - but a gringo down for a vacation.

if he's looking for a wife, then he's ok. If all he wants is sex, then he was wasting his time. I've talked with guys that are looking for both. They are looking for a decent (what they assume to be a) non-working girl, and at the same time they are hitting the HDR and MPs to satisfy themselves.

So long as you realize that by not living there, by not being a part of her culture, and by not being able to speak her language, you are one, big, target-carrying sucker. You will attract all of the leeches as well as the sweet ones.

I agree a newbie looking for a non pro is almost impossible. It does happen for guys that are willing to spend the time
and effort. It also takes luck. You never know who you are going to meet in life. I do pull most of my chica's out of
the sportsman for $40. Timing can be everything when it comes to their pricing.

What will a chica go for? What will most chicas in the REY or SL go for? What is the minimum a chica will go for? What is necessary to get a chica to go for a lot less than the norm? What is the motivation for a chica to go with one guy for $40 or less and another guy she will not go for less than $80? Why can certain guys get chicas every day for $40 and others can never get a chica for less than "cien"? Why do some guys seem to always have exceptional GFE and PSE experiences with the same chicas that others say are terrible experiences?

A lot of questions! Questions that are asked many times every day! Sadly there are as many answers as there are chicas and guys! The main ingredients are:

8: How comfortable HE makes her feel
9: How comfortable is HE with himself
10: How much HE can get HER to trust him
11: Is HE a tourist, a very "frequent Flyer"-in other words, here a lot and known by the chicas, or does he live here
12:Even things like "what time of the "work day" is it for her" what time of the month is it (When is the rent due), What holiday is coming up soon! etc. etc. etc.

The main differences in guys who pay less and those who never can get a chica for less than "cien" is "personality, attitude, self confidence, perception of long term business (how much she can ultimately get out of him), and personal hygiene! To a much lesser degree - how he looks! And the two most important things - How well he can "read" the chica and "the connection" he can make her feel exists!!

And all this just barely "scratches the surface" of all the variables involved in ANY female/male relationship, whether it be one for a hour or for a life time!!

Don't worry about how much someone else pays! Don't automatically assume he is lying if he says he pays very little! Don't be jealous or envious of the guy who pays less! Accept that it does happen and then if it bothers you that you pay more, work on improving or eliminating the things you do or don't do that cause you to pay more and have less "fun" experiences!

But just remember that with some, all the "right moves" just come natural; and with others, no matter how hard they try, they will never be able to "talk" to a (any) chica without being nervous. apprehensive, unsure, or just down right uncomfortable and scared! For those few guys, just keep telling yourself that (with a puta) it is a business negotiation for an hour of pleasure and nothing more! It is not a matter of life and death, it is not a disaster if you do or say the wrong thing (there is always "NEXT" when dealing with putas)! Just wondering what happened in July and October. Also, during every trip I've made, usually 3 times a year, I see quite a few new chicas in the SL. I don't understand how 59Vette could know almost every chica in the place.
