Just downloaded and read Clyde Complete. A decent read in a similar vein with Pura Vida by Paul Peditto. I had a problem with the download and got little camera with an exclamation mark icons at Loc 1351 and 1375.

Any other good hobby fiction out there?

I'll have to check that out and fix it if it's there. If it needs fixing I'll be happy to send up a fixed version. Can you tell me what chapters the pictures are supposed to be in? I'd appreciate it.

Also, my "Dances with Prostitutes" might be of interest to you. Less fictional, mostly actual events that happened to me, with a few that happened to others.

Bilko I just read the last book of the Clyde series and again I couldn't put it down until I finished it. It just seemed so real to me. I have read very few books in my life but the relationship between Clyde and Selena reminds me of my past life

Thanks Hank, realism is what I am shooting for, realism about things of interest, of course. All the stuff in the Clyde books is based on real happenings, though I have changed them mostly to protect identities of friends (and myself). Thanks again for the kind words.

And Boynton, I made the changes, got the pictures to display properly (God I hope!) I checked into Amazon's q/a for Kindle and found this:

(HELP FORUM PRO) (KINDLE FORUM PRO)
Go to the Manage Your Kindle page on http://amazon.com. Click on the "view" drop-down box. If you have any updates available, they'll be listed there. Once you update a book, click on "actions" next to the title on your Manage Your Kindle page, click on "deliver to," and select your Kindle app.

If the book doesn't show as updated on that page maybe I have to do something, please let me know.

just finished reading clueless clyde and was pleasantly surprised. I hate to say it but i think theres a little bit of clyde in all of us. We have all made at least one or more of the mistakes he made. I think the book was interesting as well as a little educational. Almost think they should have it on the plane trip down to cr for all newbies to read to help them out. great job and hope theres more to come in the future.

selfpublished author :)

big difference anyone can publish thier own book on amazon

This statement conflates self-published with vanity press-very different things even in this day and age. What needs looking at is # of readers of a book and, more importantly, # of followers (those who liked one well enough to read the others).
You rock, Bilko and I mean literally--I've heard you play.

Well, if you'll accept science fiction, here's an interesting if creepy article about the future. Glad I'm as old as I am...and won't be around to see it. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/ar ... 8711002850
