Not to come off hardassed or cold...but I find very little difference between prostitute, "puta", whore, or "lady of the evening". They are all ways to describe the same person with maybe various levels of sentiment. They all HAVE CHOSEN to work as sex providers. One man's "lady of the evening" or "favorita" is another man's "puta". Dont want to burst bubbles here...but also find it hard to read over romanticizing of the worlds oldest profession. Let's call it what it is...just some of them are classier than other...or better actresses than others...just dont think that they make wonderful GIRLFRIENDS.

As adults here we all know about respect and ofcourse you get better service with respect.

Dino, thanks for your clarification. You said it just as I stated as soon as a better one comes along she is the favorita. I wonder why even waste time mentioning this in reports. Does it matter? It would be more accurate to say ....I was with my favorita at the time and blah blah blah.

Tman, very well stated. I could not agree more. So many guys on this board have gotten upset with me for using the term puta. Some are long time members of this board and have made issue of it. I say when a women charges you cash for sex she's a whore! Period! End of discussion!

To all who have posted here...it's all semantics. I agree that if a woman has sex for money you have to call it like it is. Period. She is a hooker, whore, puta etc.... This also solidifies my case that there is NO SUCH thing as a semi-pro. Once again, either you ARE or you ARE NOT selling sex for money. Ok, in your black/white world maybe, it's a shame you haven't discovered the difference. I'll continue to pursue these semi-pro's that do not exist and have the time of my life with them, as oppopsed to the hardened pros with bad atittudes that walk the BM 7 nights/week and want twice as much money.

I feel the need to add my perspective on this discussion.

Everyone has their own idea as to what these girs are.

I tend to look at the reaons behind it, and I disagree with many of you. I've personaly known High class call girls, that worked for 10 years and retired and I also "dated" a working girl for 6 months who finally got out of the biz. (we never exchanged money) Unless you count all the money she spent on me.

I think there is definite difference between the hardened pro , the girl thats working to feed her family or the drug addict . For some it's just easy money till they find something else, for others it's a way of life. I really don't think it's fair to lump them all into one catagory.
I'm not going to go on for an hour ( I could ) but I think "working" girls should be treated with respect , until they deserve otherwise. Sure there are some "puta's " out there , but there is also a lot of gringo's who are assholes too.

By no means do I ever judge. And here is the big reason why. Let's compare it to drugs. Everybody wants to blame the guy selling drugs but is always sympathetic to to user. If there is no demand, there wouldn't be a supply. Therefore, I pay these girls for sex so no way would I ever take a superior attitude. I find these girls no diffferent than any other segment of society. There are good, bad and in between. And we might have different labels we use but in the end we're all doing the same and having fun. Peace

Because the reality of it all is that if a woman provides sex for money....she is prostituting herself. Sure, I have been with what some would call a "semi-pro". Great experience. I paid her money for several hours of companionship and sex. I was the John and she was the hooker. Would this be correct, fellas? I think the debate here is the attitude of the girl involved. Thus, the various shades of grey that we try to paint for each of the girls. Are the "semipros" more greatful, less spoiled than the "hardcores"? I don't know..maybe. Was the "semi-pro's" attitude in general better than that of the "hardcore" girls that I have experienced? Yes, for the most part. I have also carried on a relationship (for lack of a better term) for the last 8+ months with a girl that would surely be called a "hardened pro." Or at least was a hardened pro until she quit working. Again, I was the John and she was the hooker. How was her attitude when I paid on a transactional basis? Great. Much different than the "semipros"? No, not really. I apologize for my black/white view of it all.
Just as a sidenote, I had a long talk with another member of the board who posts ALOT. We discussed the very, very fine line between the girls working in say... Mall San Pedro and those that work in the Del Rey. I think the debate is more geared towards the attitude of the provider. Because, no matter how you slice it up.. Just a quick ad on to my previous post...I think most of us would agree that a prostitute is a prostitute...BUT we have them pegged by what I call a progression:

First timer
Occasional
Semi Pro
Pro
Hardcore

Outside of these labels, some of these girls are also clerks, retail workers, and yes even lawyers and nurses.

In addition, in each category you have nice girls, wierd girls, dike girls, fun girls, serious girls, bashful girls.
