Not sure what is said when you signed up for VIP that if you pay $39 you own the board?

The same people bitching about the moderation now are the same ones bitching about the lack thereof just a short while ago.

Samba Sam is obviously an old non-VIP with a new name. But since he insults other members instead of the moderators he gets to keep breaking the rules.

Maybe these threads should all be in the VIP sections to prevent guys like him from getting access. Just keep one forum for newbies and everything else to the PAID members.

bingo. it would be nice to see a sweep of this type of trash before banning a long time member and contributor on a one off mistake.
but the guy has to start somewhere. the pendulum swings hard both ways before it hopefully finds a center. the ban could have been a warning to start. but in fairness he was called out to a degree.
i just don't see why there is a rush to indict his every move. he's trying to give the board a broader appeal to more members.
i doubt he is going to strike down every attempt at humor w a sledge hammer.
mods are rarely popular esp on a board with no real moderation for as long as this one has.

A couple of points here. Last week many members, including myself, asked for increased moderation. I think Admin has been doing a fair job over the last few days. If I was a paranoid person I might think that some members have an agenda-vested interest in seeing CRT fail.

Secondly I have always maintained that CRT should be a "paid members only" board. You are planning to get into the game but can't scrape together $39?
