YOUR PARTNER GUARANTEE A 90 DAY STAMP?
I do not think anyone can guarantee the actions of a government immigration official. However, if I had to choose between San Jose airport, Peñas Blancas, Sixaola and the Pavas airport I would put the Pavas airport and Peñas Blancas at the top of the list. Unfortunately, Peñas Blancas is a long bus ride.

Getting up early and being flown to a resort where you are fed mimosas, sounds a good deal more agreeable than riding in a smelly bus for half a day and then back, through Central America.
the only guarantees in life are death and taxes. However, I know for a fact, that all that have taken this trip and reported back to me, got 90 days. Might want to pm brother cburns about he and his wife's trip.

DGD, sorry I don't always respond to post in a timely manner. I am not on the computer as much anymore.

The reason you do not want to respond is you can not guarantee a 90-day visa.

Unless you are an immigration inspector, or possibly a high level Costa Rica government official, no one can guarantee a 90 day visa.

The Costa Rican law says you must be out of the country 72 hours to receive a new visa.

There is no such law. The 72 hour requirement appears on the Customs form and applies if you are seeking to take advantage of the right to bring in up to $500.00 worth of personal goods without the imposition of customs duty. There is no similar requirement listed on the immigration form.

I know several guys that come often who only get short, 30 day or even 10 day visas now.

Exactly why no one can ethically guarantee a 90 day visa.

If you check around there are numerous accounts of people going to any of the 3 major border crossings Sixola, Penas Blancas and Paso Canoas getting an exit stamp from Costa Rica, entering Panama/Nicaragua getting an entry stamp, having lunch and going back through immigration and customs in Nicaragua/Panama and then entering Costa Rica and getting a new entry stamp. Usually for the full 90 days but sometimes less.

You do not like One Lucky Dogg, no problem. However, stick to your personal opinion stop posting inaccurate information about visa requirements.

I have never met One Lucky Dogg, never used his service and think his account of an AA flight diverting to Liberia because they lacked sufficient fuel to do a go around was and is poor BS. I have told him that but we carried on that conversation using PM's.

If OLD is circumventing the rules then the Admin should take care of the matter. I have a feeling that Alex will be far less tolerant of miscreants then Tomas was.
