My name is Colin. I knew Gary from NYC where I was once employed in the same health club out of which Gary was a tennis pro. Gary was the one who first recommended I go to costa rica, in 2000, and we would hang out during most of my 8 or so trips to CR. I was just trying to track him down when I came across this very saddening blog. Could someone please tell me some more details about what happened to Gary.

The start of this thred was over a year ago; since Hangman is a "sock puppet" and has not been heard from in months, and never existed as a real person in the first place, we will have to await his next incarnation.

The guy has had more incarnations than a Hindu god - pretty sure he and Vegan Bob, as well as Adolph Hitler spelled backward were the same sock puppet

Wow I just read this & really sad about Gary passing. We go way back to 1999. I really enjoyed hanging out with him. Not a mean bone in his body...really good guy! Anyone know the details of what happened? I knew he had bouts of depression & I tried to help him years ago with this. Wish I could have done more.
