hate to bump old post but anyone know where to get prepaid sim card besides the airport? Heading to the beach tomorrow and wanna get one before i go.

Right next to the Presidente hotel is a new Claro phone store,take your passport you'll need it to purchase a sim card.

Also Mall San Pedro, when you walk in the main entrance there is a Kolbi phone kiosk, you can't miss it
