On a similar note, I bought 2 cheap ham and cheese sandwiches that must have been a tad old, plus a bottle of coke for my trip to Jaco. I ate one nasty sandwich and drank half of the coke. Later that night, I got a Nica and between round two, I asked if she wanted something to drink and of course she said "Coca Cola" as I poured the Coke it was flat. I guess for all the jarring motion of the drive and carrying it in my backpack all day. Then I offered her that nasty sandwich and she eagerly accepted, thanking me profusely as she gobbled it down with the flat warm Coke.

Now here's the funny part, after we are leaving I asked her where is a good place to eat near my hotel and she told me she would take me to a buffet. When we got there and I was ordering my food, I offered her something and she said "no" and made motions like she was full and fat. She takes my food and sets the table for me. It was like I brought my own waitress! She sits there watching me eat and chatting away, even rejecting my offer of the generous portion of rice and beans. So, she basically ate what was destine for my garbage can and watched me eat good food. After I was done, we went back to my hotel where she caught a taxi home.

Let's put "stupid" in context. When I come here, I get a different one each night. The usual $80 professional that spends about an hour and leaves. I wouldn't buy them anything.

Over many visits I have found one girl, in particular, that is worth repeating. I see her once each visit, because it is of known quality. Since I see her each visit, we went to eat to continue the conversation and after dinner off she goes. I would say her dinner was a propina for great and reliable service, similar to the Xmas money I give to the newspaper delivery person each year. He accommodates my special requests and always delivers my paper.

I don't know if it is "stupid" of me to buy her dinner or give a gift to the newspaper delivery person, but let's call it insurance for future good service and accommodations.

He just puts raw chicken on the floor for feedings and they love it, he has even dumped rice and beans on dirt floors for his "street monkeys". He is obviously a very refined gentleman and you guys should get a clue from him. , still trying figure out which distinguished gentleman he is on his website for cvcap.com. I am still confused as to the picture he posted(for Cujo, he might have the hots for you ), is he the giver or receiver.
