I just got an email from Dean, the proprietor of Viking Resort formerly in Dominican Republic. The Viking operation went down about one year ago, reportedly due to some legal difficulties.

Now, apparently, they are setting up shop in Costa Rica, flying clients into San Jose. They do not say where the resort is, only that it's minutes away from fishing and casinos. That's typical of Viking, which never did like giving out a lot of details over the internet.

I stayed with Viking several times in DR and found it to be a 5 star plus operation, but it is expensive. Then it was $1000 per day, which has now increased to $1500. I realize a lot of guys are not into this kind of pricing, but this is truly a top-notch experience. You will have the run of a mansion with about 5 or 6 other guys and a dozen or so Russian/Ukrainian knockouts. On one of my visits the girl I was with wanted to show me her photos. When I said "sure" she produced a copy of Playboy (Russian version). She was on the cover and had a feature photo shoot in the middle. That's the caliber of girl you'll be dealing with there. Also, open bar with call liquors and 3 gourmet meals every day.

Just throwing it out there for those who have considered trying it. It's pricey, but you WILL feel like a rock star for your entire visit.
