SHHHHHHH!! guys!! If Australia finds out how much worse crime is in the USA than here in Costa Rica, it may put a total ban on travel to the USA; and God knows the USA can not afford to lose a single $ right now!!!
The only difference is that Autralians are very unlikely to go where crimes occur in USA but very likely to go where crimes occur in Costa Rica because in CR, crimminals target foreigners.
You people are always bashing USA. I have a hunch that many of you would sell your country just for a piece of pu*sy in a heart beat. Where would you be without USA? That's where I think God is unfair, you people should have been born in Costa Rica!
First off, YOU DO NOT KNOW ME so do not judge me just as I would not judge you!!! Secondly I was just trying to point out the fact that they are aparently using a double standard in evaluating the two countries--it is a well known FACT that the crime rate in almost all US cities the size of SJ or larger is higher than here. And if you do not know that the US is in terrible fianicial shape right now (and needs every penny it can get) you should open your eyes and ears. I was actually just trying to throw a little humor into a serious situation in both countries.
And by the way, by your own admission, your are Latino (Cuban) so just where do you get off telling me how I should feel about my country??? I would never critize you for how you might feel about Cuba!! And where do you spend the majority of your 'free' time??? in the USA or in CR and or Colombia??? and why?????? Just asking based on your posts!!!!
AND that is one of the nice things about being a citizen of the United States; We have the right (and privilige) to critize the country, or the people, or the government!!!!!! Notice I did not say "American". Whether from North, Central, or South America, we are ALL "AMERICANS"). But to be honest, NO, I do not like what the US has become over the last 40-50 years, just as I did not like what was happening there when I lived there. BUT I left for other reasons (and "pu*sy" was not even close to the top of the list) Try climate (I hate cold and extreme hot weather) or environment (for health reasons), or cost of living (I could not live on my income in the US), or just because I fell in love with this country 15 years ago! All of it--the mountains, the jungles, the beaches, the waterfalls, and most important, the plant life and its diversity (I am a Horticultrist/botanist)!!! As far as the 'pu*sy' is concerned, YES, I love the chicas here, but if you knew me you would know that I had 2 very hot chicas ( 21 and 29 yo Mexicans) living with me and sleeping in my bed every night when I moved here. My friends thought I had lost my mind when I told the chicas they had to move.
And finallly, I am the type of person that basically accepts what life throws at me and try to make the best of it!! If I had been born here I have a feeling I would still be the same happy, have a good time no matter what, crazy, just trying to make the most of what I have, guy that I am now!!!!
