hmmm Interesting thread. I will be the first to say that I have nailed quite a few unnattractive chicas and some big girls in my time. I had fun at the time, just no need to advertise the less than attractive, according to conventional thought.

Before going to CR, I got the impression from this board that SJO only had 2 categories of chicas. Spinners and FAT girls.

In my opinion this isn’t why members have slowed down in regards to posting photos. There was big discussion not long ago about posting photographs with/without permission from the girls and some members went as far as to wish the picture posting section was removed. I feel that after reading that sheeeyat some members, especially a newer member prolly just said “fawk it” and didn’t feel like dealing with the potential fallout from posting pictures. The members who oppose or speak out on picture posting are few but they are some of the most vocal members. I say POST IT ALL BABY!!!! Let’s see the fruits of your happy vacation! And for those who want to make comments, let er rip! I find the comments can be humorous especially if the poster isn’t smarter than a 5th grader. I agree to the statement of “boys will be boys”.

Years ago a CRT member posted some real bad photos, he picked some girls (Nasty) up in an MP for like $10 each. We talk about belly rolls, these girls had more than there share. Yeh, we bashed the poster, so what. These girls can be had in the states for free. But if thats what he wants to travel to CR for, more power to him. Your 10 might be my 5 or vice versa. I think we need a U.S. strip club or U.S. girl picture section, I could add a few to that section.

A guy posted a picture last year of a pair he had at one of the low end mps ,everyone had a good laugh. Wood and beer goggles can make for some interesting times.

Whenever you post anything on-line you automatically subject yourself to public comment. If you can't stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen.

OTOH, if you don't like something you see on-line you could just as easily vote with your mouse instead of your keyboard and simply click on something else. I'm one of those who think the VIP Gallery adds little value to the board and may even cause more problems than it is worth. After all, far better pictures of far better looking chicas already exist elsewhere (e.g. http://www.ero-tica.com). It also causes really unnecessary flack with anti-sextourism forces as well as chicas, both because of some irresponsible photo posting practices of a few guys AND the irresponsible ratting them out of a few others. All that being said, I at least realize that as long as the gallery is there both types of guys will continue to do whatever it is they're going to do and other guys will want to visit there to watch. Personally, I rarely if ever even look into the gallery, let alone comment on the photos that happen to be there. And, to be brutally honest, that really has as much to do with the fact that MANY of the "trophy photos" that guys post IMHO leave much to be desired as it does with any moral qualms I have about the gallery.

I agree with others that beauty is mostly in the eye of the beholder. Some guys like spinners while other guys like full-figured girls with big tits (and bigger asses) and other guys don't seem to care what their girl looks like as long as she can suck the chrome off a bumper. I actually RELISH that fact because I realize if every guy went after the same type I like to the exclusion of others, then those girls pricing would go up and their availability would go down. OTOH, I also have a pretty good awareness of what the conventional/mainstream concept of beauty. These guys that post these pictures may have really enjoyed their particular conquest and may think that girl is the most beautiful girl in the world TO THEM, but they should also appreciate when that same girl probably won't be so impressive to most everyone else. So they shouldn't be surprised or upset when the cackles start to flow after they post such pictures.

...And last but to me not least--the photography itself is uniformly crappy. If you want to photograph your beauties, take the time to pose them a little, get the lighting right, use that camera's focussing mechanism, etc. etc. It can't be that tough to get it better.

Aren't most of the people around here past the locker room stage? To be brutally frank: aren't most of us a little OLD to be engaging in frathouse repartee?

If the answer is "Yes", then what is up with this tendency to trash another poster's taste in women? I mean, what I like you may not like, and vice-versa.

IMO, there is no need to put down another monger just because the picture of the chica he posted makes us barf. It almost seems as if gringo competitiveness even extends to which chica we bang. Isn't it enough we argue and even come to blows about FSU vs UofM, Democraps vs. Republitards, Biden vs Palin, without also having to denigrate other mongers' choices?

What I meant by the “boys will be boys” statement was the good hearted joking. Even if it was in regards to a picture post. Who cares? And as far as people “not being able to take the heat”? Well it looks like the people are getting out of the picture posting kitchen which is obvious to me by the lack of posting compared to the past. I compare people who complain about that to someone joining in on a game that is already in progress and then attempt to change the rules to suit them. That is obtuse! Lol

Obviously i am new here..been reading and observing for a while.Never been to Costa Rica but I am planning a trip sometime towards the early part of next year if all goes well.Actually I have never done any "mongering" at all...at my age (37) it is just now starting to seem like something fun to do..

I have been using the picture gallery and the comments on it to become familiar with some of the more common girls and their "track records" so that when i do go down there I will be more versed in what to expect and maybe try to find some of the ones that tickle my fancy that have good reviews...honestly I think it's good for business for the girls as well...I may be wrong?

I really enjoy the gallery and I love the comments about their performances...but the OP is correct about one thing for sure...the "dogging out" of the girls pictured purely based on physical appearance just seems mean spirited...I like spinners very much...but I really thought the girl in question was okay...if she seemed fun and sweet I might pick her up myself.

But as the OP said...I would hesitate to post pics of a less than perfect girl...which is a shame because people like me like to look at a broad cross-section of girls before even deciding to make the trip..

Anyway.Hope my first post does not alienate too many of you.From reading around here some of you seem like wellsprings of information..

By the way...a bit off topic..but I love Cubadave's LARGE supply of pictures....that guy always looks like he is having a great time...and that is the reason I want to get into this "hobby"...so few good times to be had at home in the last few years...
