I don't know when you became such a gringa basher, but reading websites like that certainly will augment any negative attitudes you already may have on the subject.
That 20% figure seemed a bit high to me too, so I clicked on your link. At first, it says that "random" DNA checks "prove" that 20% of men who think they are father are not. But what do they mean by "random"?
An important factor in assessing scientific studies is to understand the sampling method. If they really tested a random sample of the general population than the results could be reasonably extrapolated to SUPPORT their 20% estimate for the population as a whole. But if they were really talking about men who chose to go in for paternity tests, as the rest of that article suggests, then an alternative explanation for the high results would be that the
men who decided to get a paternity test on their own had some reason to suspect they weren't the father to begin with and therefore the sampling method was not representative. In fact, that 80% were indeed the father DESPITE their suspicions, suggests to me that unless you have some particular reason to suspect your wife to be sleeping around, the odds are pretty good those K*ds are really yours.
Another factor that is important in assessing "scientific" studies is to understand who it is that is making the claim. After all, tobacco company scientists were telling us for years that cigarettes really weren't so bad for us. So I clicked on the links on the paternity test page, which took me to a page where they were selling a e-book manual on "No Marriage" for $9.95. Does this mean they're full of shit? Not necessarily. But it does mean it should be taken with a grain of salt and read in conjunction with other sources.
Actually, I personally tend to share many of the views expressed at that site including marriage makes sense only if you are having K*ds and that having K*ds may be over-rated. They are also big advocates of seeking foreign wives. I think that might have some advantages but then one is really only trading one set of problems for another (mixing cultures). Finally, they had several links about how American Women grousing about guys seeking marriage and/or companionship overseas have no right to complain and if anything have only themselves to blame. RIGHT ON!!
Here is some more interesting links from that website. "Majority of American women have Histrionic and Narcissistic disorders"
http://www.nomarriage.com/disorders.html (the link reveals that the medical community puts the figure at 2-3%, but the site's authors think that is a lie). For a little more fun try the cost-of-sex calculator at
