Congratulation, She is a pretty baby girl.

Being a father as all the others have noted. The fun is just beginnig. And in 14 years you will look back with fond memorys of these days. When it was all simple. Shit, eat, cry. Now you know what to expect. Then you will be winging it one day at a time.

I think it is worth it. I pray that when you are with your God. You will know it also. And thank Him for the gift you have.

So far, she has been really easy. All she does is eat and when she isn't eating she is a happy babe or snoozing quietly, so I really can't complain.

All kudos to Mom on a great production run! She does make pretty babes (and zero strias for Momma!). This is not her first rodeo and she is a trooper.

Hospital Hotel Catolica was great and Eveling is already walking fairly normally, a day after a C-section. Very nice young doctor who called us here at home before and after the birth, gave us his cell and home phone numbers, couldn't ask for better.

The private room was large with a full sofa and an overstuffed chair, flat-screen TV, room service (coffee - $225c), modern hospital facility. To top it, they came in $50 under budget at $2950us plus $30us in prescriptions. No idea what that would run in the US.

Some of my good friends got together and bought a pimp car seat/stroller/high chair. Thanks WV Chuck, Crackerass, Nick the Greek and the Mexichino. Very cool and right on time!

I paid about $7000 for a C-section delivery including doctor, hospital,everything in 1986. And I have to say it was worth every penny. Congratulations and I wish you and your family the best of everything.

CONGRATS !!!!

I wait for the day that she first pees on you. You of course, will not think any big deal about it. THEN, as you are changing her diaper, after you apply powder so she won't get a rash, and JUST before you are about to pull her diaper up around her waist, it happens..... You look down and realize she ain't quite finished. You now feel that warm brown goo on your hand, arm, and leg. and wonder how anything so cute, tiny, and beautiful could, at SUPERSONC speed, expel anything so quickly and smells so bad. BUT, you will stand there saying something like "you gotta be shittn' me" as she smiles that toothy grin with those big brown peepers and, believe it or not, all will immediately be forgiven. At least in my experience, it happens at least once.

Enjoy every moment mi amigo, for it passes all too quickly.

Mongreal, I would love for you to bring me a shotgun. I really miss my gun safe and all my cold steel friends. I may not need it for a few years but I am sure she is going to draw a crowd! Me and my shotgun would be the least of their problems however, just watch out for Mom!
