I'm surprised at your comment about the poster circus. I always thought he was a real rougue with satirical writings of his many experiences of life in CR. I really enjoyed his respect for the military and his knowledge of CR history. Yes, he certainly was crazy in his various ramblings on his trips but entertaining as well. I laughed my ass off at his tirades.

Sounds as if your gripe is perhaps a political thing.

Perhaps someone could tell me how long was he an active member and just what happened to him. Hell, he must have been a rather elderly man. It does look like he posted often through latter 2008.

There are a number of good contributers that are no longer here. Miss them.

Mule, I don't think Jmac said anything about Circus, he was just self-promoting himself, I'd say, as a joke. When Jmac started here, he took a lot of heat for something he said. He took it like a man, and never disrespected anyone.

As for the political/military thing, Jmac is not even American!

Circus is not really that old (there are a few pictures of him here), and without the beard, he looks younger than me.

His last post here was when an insensitive poster criticized him for something he said about the military (I think). Guys like that are the ones taking this country to the undemocratic route. If you don't think like them, they destroy you. Welcome to the Latinoamericanization of USA!

I hope Circus didn't leave the group because of that one. At least there's one here who appreciates what he did for this country: me!
