The opening of the second area to pay your exit tax last year and the start of sales at all BCR branches has reduced the lines at the airport to almost nothing.

The advantage I found by purchasing it in advance is the ability to sit down and fill out the form at my leisure rather than trying to find something to lay the form on so I can fill it out before having check in.
