I remember when I was 35 I took a Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer charge to trial by myself. I had never been arrested as an adult. I was advised not to by the judge but did it anyway. This cop was dirty as the oil in Iraq. I've known him for at least 15 years at the time. See his girlfriend was dealing drugs and he knew it, I tried to help him get rid of her and he turned the tables on me. I never hit him, maybe pushed but never hit him. I made him look like the scum he was at the trial. After 2 days of testimony the state offered me 2 years of probation, I said go fly a kite. Guess what I won and got his ass charged with trafficking right after the trial. I had called the feds to watch the trial. You can represent yourself only if you know all your cards are stacked on your side. Since that day I will never trust anyone in a uniform. I will respect them but not trust them as far as I could throw them. I sued the police dept for false arrest (Had attorney for this one) and settled 5 years later the day of the trial for close to 6 figures. by the way I don't take meds. LOL
P.S. I was a cop right out of High school for a year. 2 shootings later (No deaths involved) I left before finishing my 1 year probation. They where good shoots but was advised that I may have a trigger finger. LOL Dam right, I say drop it once, after that your being dropped. Sorry to ramble on.
