A good place to purchase flowers in San Jose is the weekly Farmer's Market which is held each Saturday morning. It's located directly down the hill from the Del Rey....about 8 or 9 blocks down. Also a good place to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables.

Last year,on my way to my rent-a-novia's house, she told me it was her mpther's bday, so we stopped at the stand that Novice mentioned, and not knowing what to get, I asked the girl for one of every flower in the place---being the big spender I am in my mind. The bill came to about ten bucks, and Mom cooked a meal in appreciation. Cheap meal if you ask me.

I have never "sent" or "had delivered" candy or flowers to a chica, but my favorite chica had requested that I bring her some chocolates and some other nice things when I returned to San Jose on this past January 14th. After a "rolledback WAL-MART price" and a "$2 off coupon," I managed to procure a 12 ounce WHITMAN'S SAMPLER for the amazing low price of $3......I know, I know; just what the chicas don't need. But she was muy feliz and promised to share it with her family.......and I got a lot of mileage out of it. :D

Honestly, the flowers in your hotel room idea is kind of nice. I might try it next time.

When I next visit CR I may well buy a couple of bunches of flowers from the stall on the way to the Mercade Central. A gift of them to a desk clerk might be well appreciated. I like flowers too.

I also sent a flower bouquet from Flowers NYC services on my mother’s birthday when I was out of country. She really loved my surprise and called me up at same time. Now I have contact with them and anytime I can call them for their services.
