Hello there handsome. Can I be your friend ?!?!?! Image

I guess I should have added that some friendships developed through CRT are closer than others. You can be assured that if you are friends with Mucho Gusto, he will "have your back." Just make sure there is a crow bar around to pry him off.

ciao...i hear what you are saying...and yes, CRT has always had its share of sniping, backbiting, people spreading dirt and rumors they know nothing first hand about. All I am suggesting for whoever will listen is to try and reduce or make people more aware of how they sound and challenge what possible benefit there is in being negative and combative.

I tell you though, it is hard. I have had to stop writing about 3 posts this week "reacting" to negative shit. Catching myself...forcing myself to examine what i am about to post...is good therapy. I also am finding my reading time on the board reduced as I am now more purposfully "filtering" what posts and whos posts i read. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil...

I echo this exactly. I have hit the "back" button many times while writing posts. As I think about what I am about to make public I think to myself.."Is this how I want people to view me? Is it better to just shut up and let the thread play out?" And as far as filtering posters..I've done that for a long, long time. Some posts I know are worth reading. Others I am almost positive are not. No offense to anyone. I am sure when some see that Dapanz has posted they glide on by it. Just the nature of the board.

A very wise gentlemen I once knew lived by this, "if you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything at all". It was good for his 99 years and 9 months. Damn, he always wanted to live 'till a 100.

Very good post , T.

Back to the resolution thing ....... I definitely have to find more time to spend in PTY.

I was there for almost a week early December, simply loved it. Went every where, from Avenida Central, the Malls, Cangrejo, Marbella, the causeway ( that Bucanero absolutely rocks with their seafood ! ) what's not to like ?

Didn't monger since I brought sand, and unfortunately didn't have time to try out hat restaurant at Las Vegas Suite.

In 2008 ... Must Visit Again !

Ding, Ding, Ding....Here, here....... A toast to tman for a worthy new years resolution. Its managable, requires daily thought, good for credit in the karma bank. Some of my subs have coined me with
"The Soul Sucker", because im very picky about quality, customer relations, a neat and organized job site. I get tired of repeating myself so my tone changes after each repetition. I have always tried to be tactful and treat everybody with respect when addressing these issues.

funny my friend, I noticed since I bought this internet card, that the money I save on printing those pics, covers the $49.99 a month I pay for the card. And besides, now I don't get caught with the photo...I just shut the laptop down... This also gives me an excuse for taking 20 napkins from Starbucks each morning....

Sorry 'bout the tangent...my new years resolution is to stop going off on tangents when replying to posts....

feliz neuva ano mi amigos....(maybe I ought to resolve to learning spanish too!!!)

DIDO... I do not mind the "debating" I just think everybody needs to remember they have a mother and use the basic skills in politeness each one of us has learned. Because it can cause others with opinions to stop posting.

I too am starting to "filter more".
