But, hnonestly, I was looking for some hard asset CYA advice, like retain an attorney in advance, if the conversation goes bad have those ready to go divorce docs ready to be served at her work place (even if its pin stripping at the local hospital), you change the locks, you cancel the credit cards having back up sets in your name only. Run the anouncement in the local newspaper that you are no longer responsible for her debts. Don't let her in the house and call the police when she throws a tizzy on the front porch and have that bitch arrested for disturbing the peace or what ever. Don't open the door, dont let the cops in, have your attorney on speaker phone, record / tape the event. Have some cash, clothes, important papers off site in a safe deposit box. Be sure you have the title in your name only of your car and other tangible assets. etc. etc. etc.

Now you are ready for that feel good BS (it really is just a lie to make you feel better) converstation...
